After back surgery this spy, must walk every day. These trainers are the perfect walking shoes.

I went back and forth trying the right style the right fit and or the right color/look. In the end these were all around comfortable and felt stable. Walked for hours and without realizing it, my feet were the least of my concerns!

One of the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever purchased. I dont say that lightly as I have always felt compelled to have comfortable shoes for all occasions. If my feet are comfy, my back, knees, hips are all comfy and healthy. As for trying shoes of various manufacturers for various occasions, i probably have over 100 pairs currently of various shoes from TEVA flip flops to Crocs to Cole Hahn dress and casual shoes to Nike, Adidas, Skechers, etc. I did try 3 Hoka pairs before finding the pair of Gaviota 5 that I am writing about now. My wife is a hairdresser and being on her feet for 35 years shoes are important to her also, and again for back, knee and hip health. I also purchased her a pair of the Gaviota and she too feels actually one up from me that they are THE MOST comfortable pair of walking shoes that she has ever owned. Thank you HOKA.

I have a new job standing on my feet for hours. This shoe reduces the foot and back pain.

After a recent exam for pain I was experiencing on the metatarsal area of my left foot, my podiatrist recommended that I try a pair of Hoka Gaviota 5 running shoes. My left foot pain was immediately eliminated. I can walk again in comfort! It's amazing how a particular brand/style of shoe can have such an immediate effect.

These feel just as supportive in all the right spots as the Arahi's but even more plush and cushioned because of that new support frame in the sole. The only thing I wish is that they had a slightly higher back on them like that of the Arahi because they slightly slipped off the back of my ankle when walking. This could also be due to the slightly slick satin feeling lining fabric. I also love how they flare out in width for the upper half of the foot so you don't have to buy a "wide" size.

I use the shoes mostly for walking. I'm 83 years old and I have neuropathy. The shoes are comfortable and is the problems caused by neuropathy. However, again they look quite large on your foot.

Comfortable, supportive and light weight.

The Caviota 4 is a very good product. The Gaviota 5 definitely is a significantly better product. The comfort and stability provided by the Gaviot 5 is wonderful. The slightly wider toe box and additional cushioning are great. I really like the H frame.

Everything people told me about Hoka is true great shoe!

I have several different models of Hokas. The Gaviota and Arahi are my two favorite for everyday wear and for the gym. The Gaviota 5 felt a little weird at first under my right arch, but I quickly acclimated to it. It is softer in the heel than the Arahi for those days where I want a little extra cushion. I rotate between the two a lot.

This my third pair and will buy more

fits great 11.5 2ee is my size, need more colors at this size, gray or navy?

The shoes were brand new, and I never got a blister, sore spot, or any leg/back discomfort.

I love these sneakers. I have never put something on my feet and felt this much support and comfort. I am 6ft and 400 pounds and they are the BEST. I feel like I can do anything in them. They are crazy amazing and I am going to buy another pair. WORTH EVERY CENT! The only thing I would give a low rating is that the woman's sizing doesn't go higher. I am a 12 on woman's and I had to pick a men's shoe which omitted so many color choices !

Great shoe for walking and running. Great support and impact amelioration. I normally get 2E width, but these fell great in regular (D) width.

I stand/walk 13 miles every weekend when I work in retail. I traditionally only get Nikes. I needed comfort, these SNEAKERS are the MOST COMFORTABLE I'VE EVER HAD. EVER 2023!!!! light enough and comfortable. More comfortable than my slides

Very comfortable! Takes a few days to get used to them but I'm solid now. Already looking at getting another pair of HOJA's.

Exercise (brisk) walking on roadway

I'm 70 years old with a bad ankle and artificial hip. This shoe gives me the cushion I need but is stable for my ankle.
