I had an issue earlier in like that my foot was crushed in a care accident. My left foot can have unbelievable pain at any given time. I also walk with my left foot turned out, which makes me have a slight limp. I cannot believe how these shoes have helped me. I still have some pain but nowhere even close. Not only that but when I wear these both feet are now straight. Not off to the side. This is my first pair but it will not be last. I truly thank the makers of Hoka for helping me. Also the employee at the Gingerbread Man store, who immediately knew what shoe to give me just by witnessing me walk. I really appreciate both of you. P.s. now all you gotta do is make hiking boots.

I've worn Gaviotas 3 and 4 and was unhappy as as a prisoner in narrow shoes! I dont have a wide foot, Im somewhere in between I suppose. I wear a size 13, but because my left foot is a little longer than the right, I should be a 13 1/2. But they dont make that size. And size 14 would too big. Now with the Gaviota 5 Regular, not wide, toes on my left foot have more space to move. I can now walk/run without pain on my left foot/big toe. FINALLY HAPPY!

Shoes are amazing - in tons of pain and these help dramatically - Love even more than my Bondi's

I've been wearing Hokas for years. The Gaviota5 is an awesome all day comfortable wearing shoe.

I have had issues with my feet and legs for several years. I have bought all the brand name shoes (ie. New Balance, ASICS, Synchony, etc..) Hoka, Gaviota 5 have been the best fit, stable, and comfortable shoes for me. The are great for my pronation and leg fatigue.

After two ankle surgeries, I need a good sturdy stability shoe and have been in the Gaviota model for years. I really liked 3 and then was highly disappointed with Gaviota 4, which ran narrow and had a tight toebed. Gaviota 5 has a terrific toebed and the shoe overall feels a touch wider and more stable and comfortable. It feels lighter than both the 3 and 4. After the mess of Gaviota 4, HOKA came back strong with 5. Now we just need some better color schemes!

Best Hoka's I've had. Good room in toe box in standard width. I use them for golf. Hokaplease make a dedicated golf shoe!

These shoes fit perfectly and have the stability and cushion that I wanted. My knee and hip pain are pretty much gone after using these shoes for a few weeks. Would buy again.

I have worn both Gaviota 4 and Gaviota 5 and I have read some reviews posted by other people. In my case, Gaviota 5 feels more comfortable and a better fit than Gaviota 4 !

Great 'Stair Climbing' footwear!

I've got very a high arch, coupled with a Morton's neuroma. This shoe has largely relieved the pain and allows me normal mobility. Amazing!

Well worth the price

I work at a printing shop that requires me to stand in front of machines all day. The floors are all concrete and only a few of the machines have foam pads In front of them. I started getting really bad pains on the heel of my foot. These pains would last well after work was over. I did some research on shoes for people that are on there feet all day and hoka kept coming up. So I bought a pair of the gaviota5 and let me say I have never had a more comfortable shoe. I have been wearing them for two weeks now and no more foot pain which is a life changer if u suffer from this. They have a customer forever definitely recommend!

I was given a gift of a pair of the Gaviota 5 and really loved them so I bought a pair for my husband. He really likes the wider "platform" for stability and comfort. I'll be buying more and I have recommended them to many of my friends.

My Hokas are excellent! Very comfortable!

I have been using Reebok Zigs for basketball officiating for over 10 years and I'm glad I made the switch.

I'm a big fan of Hoka (Have 4 pairs of shoes/slippers)and just bought the Gaviota 5. The extra foam is really a game changer for me. Like walking on pillows. Well worth the extra money!

I've never had this product before but when. I slipped these shoe on, INSTANTLY they began to help my feet. The arch support was wonderful, they look great. I can't wait to buy my next pair. Also my wife is looking to buy her first pair soon. The you Hoka.......

Excellent stability shoe that is suitable for wearing in a variety of contexts.

For me, this is by far the most comfortable HOKA style made, and overall the most comfortable show I've ever worn. I'd love to see this type of feel be put into a dressier, more formal shoe at some point in the future. I'd be first in line to buy a pair or two.
