After two knee replacement surgeries, I had a painful time walking. I went to our local athletic shoe store and got fitted for shoes. They recommended these shoes. I could not believe the difference in how my feet didn't hurt when I walked. I love these shoes!

Use to walk in everyday

every day use

84 year old with flat feet, ankle inversion, and widening forefoot. Have been wearing the Gaviota 4 which has corrected the ankle inversion and were comfortable except for some pinching in the toe box. The Gaviota 5 iteration with the widened toe box has corrected that problem and the shoe is now perfect.

I liked the plush cushioning of the Bondi 8, so I bought the Gaviota 5 because it has the same plush cushioning. I also liked the design on the canvas and the color that I selected (Limestone/Diva Blue). I'm not a runner per say due to congenital spinal issues and live with chronic pain daily, so I mainly use them for walking. The Gaviota 5 and Bondi 8 feel like I'm walking on air, along with the wider toe box allows me to walk for longer periods. This is my third pair of HOKAs, so that should say something.

With size 15 feet (and bone spurs), I have tried almost every brand that makes my size but I have continued to shop because none them have provided all-day con-fort. I am a teacher and I stand almost all day. These HOKAS are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! Like walking on clouds!

I had two pairs of Hoka prior and liked them didn't love them . My views changed as I just ordered a pair 2EE and I absolutely love them ! I will be buying these sneakers from now on .

I have flat feet and struggle with finding sneakers that are supportive and comfortable. I have some Brooks, and som Nike Air Pegasus that I have worn until I found the Hokas. The Hokas combine the stability of the Brooks with the comfort of the Pegasus and make a truly comfortable, stable and cushioned feel that allows me to run more often and farther without foot or knee pain. Highly recommend.

I ran long distance for years and I now walk, ride a stationary bike, and do weights. I also used these shoes walking around doing errands and shopping. I wear custom orthotics so I need a stable and wider width shoe. After decades of running I need maximum cushioning in addition to stability. These shoes have both max cushioning and are stable when using my orthotics that are not that cushioned. I really appreciate that this Gaviota 5 model is actually a true 2e width! It has been impossible to find a shoe that wide without having to wear a hard, heavy motion control shoe that does not provide enough cushion and sometimes way too much stability with my orthotics. After a few days of using these shoes, my knee pain had vanished. Please keep producing these in this true 2e width and don't narrower them! The Bondi 4e is not wide enough for using with orthotics. These shoes are what I have been hoping and looking for!!!

Hoka is only brand I go to for all my athletic/walking/ daily wear shoes. The Gaviota fits me best and it is both very comfortable and supportive.

Replaced my worn out Clifton 9s Perfect for jog walking

I have flat feet and reduced circulation, have used a competitor product for years. Family members are sold on Hoka, said give them a try. These shoes are more lightweight, equally comfortable, abs provide much better stability. I love them. if they hold up as well, Hoka has won another convert!
