Fantastic shoe. I was nervous at the possibility of transitioning to this shoe after the Endorphin Edge was discontinued but I truly feel that it is a notable improvement. Better comfort, grip and wear in comparison to the Edge. I bought 2 pairs and will probably buy more. Wide foot trail runner averaging 6-12 mile distances, hailing from the desert.

I really wanted to like the shoe, but i didnt get past the aesthetics. The huge Saucony logo in the image shows black, which would make it a little more subtle. The logo on the actual shoes however is light grey. Very frustrating.

I love PWRRUNPB foam on all my road shoes and was excited to have the same in a trail shoe. They are responsive and snappy, just like the road shoes. Though the midsole has durability issues. 120 mile in and the color and parts of the midsole are getting scratched away. Not a big deal for me as long as the shoe is still responsive.
However, the upper is probably the most uncomfortable upper on a shoe I've ever worn. The toebox is hard and rubs the top of my toes when descending. My toes can also hit the end of the toebox. There is so much space in the toebox it's easy for things to shift around if you don't tighten the laces down all the way. I also found the if you get the shoe wet, the sliding around gets a lot worse.
The 'sock fit' doesn't bother me much and I like the loops for slides the excess lace under. I'll still use this shoe for anything that doesn't a lot of descending because I love the responsive ride, but I hope Saucony can improve the upper next time around. If they do, it'll be my absolute favorite shoe.

I was excited about the prospect of another shoe to rotate with my Xodus Ultras. However, the Endorphin Rift missed the mark for me with this first iteration. First, I ran into the same issue I did with the first Xodus Ultra. The cuff on the shoe digs into my lateral malleolus and creates serious pain. When looking closer, it's because several layers of material are sewn together in that spot, creating a bulge in the worst possible location. I literally had to cut that part out of the shoe to be able to wear it comfortably. Second, the longevity of the shoe is questionable. After just 200 miles, I'm seeing wear and tear that I don't get on my Xodus Ultra after 500 miles. For such a high quality and expensive shoe, I need these to last longer.

I have 100 trail miles into the shoes on hilly technical terrain. It is different to tension the laces. It has to do with the ease in which the laces move through the eyelets. The result is usually overly tight laces in the two eyelets closest to the ankle and the rest loose. The result is the foot is not as secure as it should be and my toes hit the toe box turning my big toe nails black. Next is chaffing on Achilles from the cuffs on runs longer than 10 or 15 miles. Last night I abandoned ship and bought a different shoe. Other than the two issues, I enjoyed running in these shoes, they have a lot going for them and it was frustrating having to get a different pair.

They work great for two races and then fall apart and only last for two or three months max then just plan on throwing them away. Ive heard a lot of great things about Sharky, but after only wearing them 23 times and then they completely fall apart. Im very disappointed in the quality of this shoe.

I love the colors which is why I decided to purchase mens style, I am a womens size 9 so I bought a mens size 7. It runs small and is tight around the rim of the shoe. Too expensive to be uncomfortable in.

Ive purchased Sauconys since 2020 and cant be happier. The Kinvara Liberty is awesome and I should have gotten another pair but now that I reside in Portugal its not available here. Thanks so much for being a quality name and running shoe!

Doesnt fit as well as my last pair. The toe box is gigantic and the newer model runs almost a full size too large. The cushion is nice though.

Midsole and traction are excellent. Toe box would not work for me on technical/sustained downhills. Lacing system was lacking 1 additional eyelet for dialing in fit. Wish it had the Peregrin upper.

Saucony is on the right track with this one. A bit more pop and the Rift will be a top trail shoe. Good grip and plenty of toe box room. Ill save five stars for the Rift2.

Fit smaller than the Xodus which had been my got to trail shoe. I suppose that's the risk of ordering online. Made the mistake of giving them their first real try during an Ultra race. Really did a number on my feet with my toes crashing into the front of the shoe with every downhill strike. After a good streak with the Xodus decided to upgrade to the rift. Will now go back to the Xodus.

The shoe lacks stability due to the ineffective lacing system.
Saucony needs to improve the overall ride of the show by creating more heel lock. They only have 5 lease holes compared to hokas 8. Hokas shoe fits better due to the appropriate number of laces.
