Jacket was extremely nice. Much warmer than I anticipated it being. However, sent back for a return because I didn't like the collar and am yet to receive my refund. It has been 3 weeks today and still nothing.

The jacket was a bit short for a tall size and too bulky for me. I considered returning it but instead gave it to my son who likes it.

This looks like the jacket I have now which is a replacement for an earlier one. The first one I bought had side pockets with a flap cover and I really liked that jacket. The newer one has angled pockets with zipper closure which I don't like at all.At times it can be hard to zip up or to zip down.I would not buy another one like this

I own multiples of this jacket and every part is well-designed and durable EXCEPT the knit cuffs. THEY DON'T hold up. They fray and split and look bad while the rest of the jacket continues to look great and washes well. So I have a bunch of work-around-the-yard-and-garage jackets and fewer that I can wear when I go somewhere.

The newer warm up jackets are thinner and not as warm as the past LL Bean warm up jackets. I have had one for over 20 years and it still is in good shape and keeps me warm even in sub freezing temps. This one is so thin it is more like a windbreaker. Please go back to the quality that has made LL Bean such a favorite!

I haven't purchased this jacket but I would if it had an option with the classic logo!! Disappointed that there's not.

The jacket was too big even for a medium. The return process was for me too much of a hassle, but I just gave it to my brother-in-law as a present. Now I have to re-order a new one

HAVE NOTICED WITH RECENT LLBEAN PURCHASES (JACKET AND THE RIVER DRIVER SWEATERS) THEY SEEM NUCH FLIMSIER THAN ONES PURCHASED A FEW YEARS AGO. THEY LACK THE SUBSTANCE AND FILL OF PREVIOUS SIMILAR MODELS.

I ordered color Moss/Khaki because the picture on the website made this color look like a shade of tan. It isn't tan at all it's army green. I'm going to return it and select another color. Size and fit are excellent but the colors on the web page are very deceiving.

This all started when I went to get my original 35 year old one fixed or replaced. Oddly enough the service and advice with trying out coats to get the correct size was very helpful, though it ended up costing the price of the discount since I had to try twice. I went through XL tall, to the XL Reg to the L Reg which all were great coats. The question I had was why was the insulation value for thinsulate lower in the reg than the XL... being fall in New England, the two XL coats were perfect but the L is a bit chilly.

My husband has the red jacket that he's worn for years and years. He liked it so well that I bought him the navy jacket exactly like his old one. The new one is very snug and unfortunately he didn't mention that at the time and now too much time has gone by to return. He is giving his old navy jacket to our son since it is like-new and I am purchasing another in a XXL because he loved the original red one so much. The old one isn't stretched out - it is just cut differently. Be careful when ordering - at least the navy colored jacket.

I've bought four of these; they're comfortable and warm, but are now more expensive than they should be. Another plus is that the small size fits me well, and I am a woman of average size.
Downsides are the collar, which doesn't lay flat. Worst of all are the cuffs, which begin fraying within a year. Knit cuffs don't have to do this, and I wish LL Bean would find another material that lasts longer. I have older jackets of different design with knit cuffs that remain intact for over a decade, so I can't understand why these are so poor.

I bought this jacket for my husband. He has been a size 2XLT his entire adult life. I order things they fit. Not this jacket. Though it seems well made it was tight. He had no room for movement at all. I returned it and a month later am still waiting to receive a refund.

I am disappointed that the jacket has not been improved. There are two major issues. The continued use of a light duty plastic zipper will leave this jacket unuseable after a few years. I thought the zipper failure on my first jacket would be corrected after years of testing by the public. The jacket is very noisy in cold weather; it sounds like it contains stiff plastic material, very annoying.

I bought this jacket to replace an older version of it that my daughter adopted. I was very happy with the old one. I'm very disappointed with the new one though. The material feels cheap. I wouldn't buy this jacket again.

This warm-up jacket cannot compare with the earlier versions. In cold weather (when you would wear the jacket) the outer shell feels like a cheap plastic trash bag and is a bit noisy when you move around. I know that recycled fibers and fabrics along with "sustainability" are the latest fad, but this should not come at the cost of quality. Sustainability is nice, but if you can't sustain your (long-term) customer base, what does that say about the future of LL Bean?

I have bought 3 or four of these warm up jackets and am pleased with the overall weight because if needed, I can add an inner layer for warmth. However, this is my third or fourth purchase and every single jacket has developed a frayed cloth cuff in the same area of the left arm. The response that I got from customer support stated that the coat should be returned to LL Bean, they would assess if a repair was possible, it could take 7 - 8 weeks and they would contact me with a possible cost. Looks like it's time to find a similar coat made by another outdoor supplier.

I've worn out two of these jackets in the past and loved them. Always wore a LT and they fit perfectly
this time the sleeves were a little too short and the jacket felt thinner and more vinylie

I've worn these jackets since the 1980s, sizing up from L to XL some time in my 20s. I bought this jacket to replace one that's about 5 years' old, size XL, fits perfectly. The new jacket, unfortunately, seems to be tailored differently through the shoulders so, and the quality of materials and sewing has dropped: the fleece lining is super thin, and zippers are sloppily sewn. So though there's probably nothing that can reduce my love for LL Bean, this particular item is going back to the store.

Over the years I've purchased dozens of items at the store in Freeport, as well as on line. Further, many years ago I purchased this same style windbreaker-all seasons jacket.but this new jacket is no longer the same high quality. Specifically, the outer nylon/man made fabric is cheaper, thinner, and is not the rip-stop fabric like in years before. I now believe there are better jackets on the market, and I can not recommend this LL Bean product.

On December 16, 2024 I purchased a Men's warm-up jacket size large. As of today 01/25/2025 the jacket is still wrinkled from the packaging it was shipped in. I have worn the jacket about every day but the wrinkles do not go away. I have two other similar jackets. They are not wrinkled. Any thoughts of how to make the wrinkles go away??
