I bought my first Warm-Up Jacket in 1995 and it was my favorite coat for 27-28 years until I spilled oil based enamel paint on it (my own stupid fault..). Ordered a new jacket to replace the one I ruined, and I'm very pleased with it. The new jacket is just as warm, and I tend to wear it when the temperature is between 28 F and 50 F. The sleeves are still lined with a smooth material that makes the jacket easy to put on and take off. Fleece around the collar feels warm around the neck. Very happy that the basic design has not changed for 25+ years - the basic fit and materials are more or less unchanged, and the package works well. And a final note, most of the oil based paint came out of my old jacket following a liberal application of WD40 followed by a rigorous scrub with dish soap - a few stains remained but most came out in the wash. My old jacket is now the one I wear when working in the garage or outside, but the outcome after washing it was far better I had anticipated. If the long term experience associated with this new jacket is even half what I experienced with the old one I'll be very satisfied. If anyone needs a good, versatile jacket this is it.

Bought this for my husband and he loves it. Its warm and comfortable. He wears a medium and the jacket was true to size.

I still have my last one that I bought in 2016. It's just a little too beat up and has become a "chore" jacket. Still just as comfortable and warm as the day I bought. This purchase is just for a new, more presentable appearance. Please don't change the quality of this item. It's built to last and perform.

He absolutely loves this jacket and wears it almost every day. It's a perfect jacket even in the winter for being in and out of the car running errands..not bulky or too warm. Well worth the money and we recommend it.

Be cautious if you have a tall person as the length and sleeves run true to size, so you may need a tall.

The perfect jacket! I live in Idaho. Except for prolonged exposure situations this is my "go to" jacket. Also take it on trips all I've the nation. Keeps me warm but not too much.

A tried and true friend... I had this same jacket sold by a competitor for nearly 20 years, my LLBean version is the same just a different color. It's a great coat when temps are above 40 degrees with a timeless but not outdated look.

Normally, my husband wears a 1X Tall. He is older, a senior and HAS lost weight. We had to jump into 2X Tall products for awhile. In trying all the different 2X Tall jackets this season, his only option was the 3X Tall. Your clothing has shrunk in size. Pretty soon we will truly be "Outsiders"; there will be no size left to accomodate us!! We have the means to buy your products, too!! I am experiencing the same problem too; I was wearing 1X and now I can only fit into 2X. 2X never seems to be readily available in the So. Windsor store.

Best all around jacket yet. Warm and light, plenty of room in the chest and arms. Zippers on the pockets and front are well made and the inside pocket is perfect for a cell phone. A great jacket for errands or walks. This is my second jacket of this type, my first was a gift from my wife in 2003! For those who do not like a bulky jacket, but are active outdoors this is perfect. I used this jacket for several months in the Mongolian outback. It was rugged and warm.

Very good jacket but, even though is a traditional fit, I wish it was a half size larger. Still a great jacket.

lomger than previous version of this jacket which is a plus to me since I wear a tall. Wish it came in the red version as the flannel line series. Color choice is limited. Love this coat as this is my third one I bought over the last 30 or so years. I have put a lot of miles on my coats and this one should last a long time also.

Great jacket! Exactly what my husband (born & raised in Maine & now living in North Carolina) wanted. He likes the shade of green, a nice change from navy, black or khaki.

3rd one of these I purchased. Each lasted several years. Sized about right but if you wear anything untucked underneath, go for the Tall.

This well-designed jacket is very comfortable and warm. The main zipper and three pocket zippers are durable and high quality. The fit (Large) allows for easy take-on and off without binding in the armpits. And the fleece lined collar is an excellent feature.

Perfect weight and warmth for living on the North Florida Coast in the fall and winter. Smart looking, too. My husband was delighted.

I purchased this jacket for my husband. It is his 4th warm up jacket from LL Bean. These jackets are warm, comfortable and fit well. The rib knit cuffs are the weak points of these jackets, as they fray and wear out after several years of wearing the jacket almost daily during Fall, Winter and Spring.

Big and tall on line is a better shot than the actual store. The store in Freeport only goes to 2xl and no tall. The back order was about a month and arrived 3 days ahead of scheduled delivery. Great jacket and hubby is happy happy.

This jacket is WARM! And quite durable. It fits well, even over my quilted overalls. I have only good things to say about it. I've had a number of similar coats over the years - this is the best of them.
