Warm and durable outer shell. All pockets zip closed with a small pocket that zips on inside jacket. Very good for jacket for the price.

My father used to give me this coat every couple of years as a Christmas present. Now I buy them for my son. They are the perfect all purpose utility coat. They fit perfect and allow for unrestricted movement. I regularly wear mine fly fishing and find it comfortable. It's not too bulky, or slim. I can wear a sweat shirt or sweater under it when I'm going out. The coat is durable and designed so the zipper never jams - ever. The material repels rain and the coat is warm. I appreciate that it breaths better than other coats that I have owned for the same pupose's. I live in the Pacific North Wet and this is my go to coat. The quality, fit and longevity is outstanding. I wear the coat several hours daily for at least seven months a year.

Flannel interior keeps you warm even in the wind. Good Fit

This is a nice jacket. I got the fleece lined for the extra warmth. I have 4 of these jackets, one is flannel lined. It's not as warm. With a sweater underneath, this jacket is all I need for all but the few coldest days here in North Carolina.

My husband has worn this style jacket for many years and replaces it only when the cuffs wear out. This is his third jacket from LL Bean and he is pleased that the quality remains the same

I just returned a Tall X-Large for a Tall XX-Large because it was a little tight. I'm 6'3" and about 220. Great jacket and price.

I live in New Hampshire and purchased this jacket a couple of weeks. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to notice it in the LL Bean catalog. It's remarkably warm, fits well, and the zipper works so much better than that on a far more expensive jacket I purchased a year ago. Negative comments regarding the pocket size make no sense as the jacket isn't lengthy enough to enlarge the pockets. I am especially pleased with the inside pocket on the left chestworks perfectly for a cell phone.

Great jacket. Conditions change several times a day here in Colorado, and this jacket keeps up withnthe changes quite nicely.

Living in California, this three season jacket works all year long. The summer fog is often wind driven, this jacket blocks the wind and maintain core warmth. These jackets last me about ten years each this is my third.

Bought the tall size and very happy with the extra length and fit.

6'1" 195lbs - XL Tried Large and fit well but a little tight with zip hoodie underneath. XL just added a bit of width but sleeve and body length are fine. Had one prior for years! This new one is more water repellent and a little swishy sounding but it's a winter casual jacket, not dress so who cares! Excellent!

I bought this for my husbands birthday which is in November. I gave it to him early to be sure he liked it and size was right. We ended up exchanging for a medium rather than Lg. He is 165#. Now, he has worn the jacket almost daily. He likes the 3 zippered pockets, the knit cuffs on the sleeves and said it breaks the wind. All in all, it is a winner!

This is my second jacket, the first one is getting tired after 20 years of service. The fit is just what I expected. This is definitely a three season jacket and I am talking about fall, winter, and spring because it is too warm for summer.

Great jacket. Only 2 minor negatives. First the size runs small so err on choosing the next larger size. Second it would be nice to have a second interior pocket
