This a nice windbreaker it is not a jacket. As such it is well made and the colors are stylish, functions well at keeping cold wind at bay and is great for layering. It is durable and light. You'll like it.

I am very pleased with this jacket. It is lightweight, but yet cuts the wind. It layers nicely.

I've got an L.L.Bean Mountain Classic multi-color jacket that I'm genuinely excited about, and it's already earned its place in my pack for my thru hike on the Appalachian Trail in 2026. I love this jacket. It's light, packs easily, and still gives me the kind of wind and light-rain protection I know I can count on when the weather turns on a ridge or in a gap. The fit is comfortable without being bulky, which makes it perfect for layeringover a base layer on cool mornings or over a fleece when the temperature drops. The multi-color design not only looks sharp, it also makes it easy to spot in a crowded gear pile. Zippered pockets keep the essentials secure, and the fabric feels durable enough to handle repeated wear on long days without feeling stiff or heavy. I'm really looking forward to putting this jacket through its paces on the AT. I already know it'll be one of those key pieces of gear I reach for again and again when I need reliable protection without extra weight.

Have had one like this since I was VERY young. Happy to see it as full zip. Have actually bought two of these because I thought I had lost the first full zip but found it again after second purchase. Can't do without it.

Great spring jacket. Needed the tall size for the sleeves. Very good looking.

This jacket is perfect for the mild winter day (if you layer), when you layer. I took it for a "test drive" during a drizzling/windy day and it kept me warm enough not to regret going for my walk. The fabric is soft and comfortable and the adjustable cord at the hip is ideal. If I had to complain about something, it's the hood, as I found it to be a bit large when I put it on. It's not enough for it to distract from all it's positives though.
