Cool design and nice material just weren?t very comfortable. I convinced myself I needed a separate pair of brooks shoes for treadmill vs road training but I only use the ?road? shoes for all types of running instead. Would have rather purchased a second pair of the road shoes I wear. Ghost 14 I believe

Lightweight and look great. The sock like top is nice. Only issue is my heel sticks out a little bit more than the average foot and I get some heel pain on the back of my heel but not the bottom. I was hoping this would be as comfortable as the Glycerine 17's I have, but nothing has yet to compare to that shoe. (Please bring it back).

Colors are awesome. Little uncomfortable on the back but a great show all around.

These run a little big, and maybe a bit more firm in the sole than my previous pairs of Levitates. The colorway is really nice but gets dirty quickly since they're white.

Comfortable and springy ride but they run a little small. Order at least a half size up!

I should have ordered a half a size down- they run a bit long. Other than that, love them! Ran a marathon in them and felt great!

This is a great shoe for the right runners. Unfortunately, I'm not one of them. Here's why. I've been running in Glycerins for years and wanted to try something new. I thought, wrongly, that I might get something like "cushioned" out of "springy" -- I have cartilege trouble in one knee. It didn't work out, and I returned these for a new pair of Glycerin 19s, which I love. Here are the differences I noticed: There's the springy versus cushioned thing. I could definitely feel the spring, but the Levitate didn't help reduce the impact on my knees. The Levitate, because of its sock-like fit, is a much snugger shoe than I'm used to. I bought a size 10, same size I wear comfortably in Glycerins, and it was too tight from heel to toe. A half size larger would have been good. The toe box in the Levitate is also significantly narrower -- that extra half size would have helped. If I'd gotten the right size, I would have liked both of those things. I have a pair of sock-fit golf shoes and love them. The Levitate is a better shoe for warm weather, at least for me. The temperature dipped into the low 30s while I was trying them out and my feet got seriously cold. It's a very light-weight, airy shoe, perfect for summer months. But I'm comfortable in 30 degrees with the Glycerin. So like I said, this is a great shoe -- one that I really wanted to be able to wear. But it wasn't a good fit for old, bad knees.

Comfortable lightweight shoes. I like them for gym use and running on sidewalks and trails. 3 stars only though for terrible durability. I bought two pair at the same time and neither one lasted very well. Before the rubber was worn, the foam sole cracked almost all the way through to the insole and almost all the way across the foot. This happened in both feet in both pairs, so it seems like a material quality issue, not just a one-off thing.

I do have to agree with most of the reviewer's here. I love the look of the shoe. I got the white version and I think it's the best looking shoe, especially the StealthFit. I wear both adrenaline GTS 23, and launch 10 GTS almost daily, and was planning to use my TreadLabs carbon fiber insoles with these Levitate 5 shoes for more support, and just based off how narrow these shoes are, it could not accommodate. My feet are also flat, so my inner arch was consistently getting rubbing and chaffing. I really wanted these to work since they look great but they my first pair of Brooks I had to send back.

I've run in the regular versions for years and decided to make the switch to the Stealthfit. It didn't go very well. They definitely run more narrow and rubbed spots on my toes, making them pretty uncomfortable. I'd stay with the regular version (which I switched back to) if you don't have fairly narrow feet. You could try sizing up, but when I did that I had too much material that wrinkled and folded over itself on the top of the shoe, under the laces.

Size too narrow; lack of strong arch support;
Stretch material weakens structure;
Impacted back after short time around the house.

It's a good looking shoe, but the flat sole doesn't work for me. There is no transition between heel strike and forefoot. Mt feet slap the ground with every stride.I'm sorry to have to return them.

They say to order a size bigger. I ordered a half a size bigger than what I wear in other shoes. They are too big. Wish I had just ordered the size I wear in every other shoe.

These were WAY too narrow and actually hurt my feet. Disappointing after a previous version of Levitates was my favorite shoe. But but still love Brooks and their 90 day return policy.

I bought these sneakers for the gym, where I run on the treadmill for about an hour three to four times a week. I love the look but they run small and narrow, which made them very difficult to get used to. I decided to keep them because I love the look and decided to use them just for walking during the summer months. I hope they can design a better fitting model when they decide to make the Levitate 6.

I love brooks running shoes. I think these are a little snug and I've gotten spoiled with the extra cushion in the Glycerin series. I'm sure they're great shoes for anyone looking for a light-weight running shoe, but just not for me.
