These shoes are the answer to our athletic shoe problems! They look and perform like any other sneaker and they are easy for my son to put on. Once the laces are adjusted we don't have to worry about tying them. Tying shoes is extremely difficult for my son due limited use of his right hand. We've tried numerous other solutions and these shoes are by far the best!!

I have another pair of these in black which I love. Very comfortable. Almost like I'm not wearing shoes! These seem a little snug but maybe with time, these will feel the same.

When brand new it is a little difficult to get the zipper to make the turn. Gets caught on the underside of the tongue.
Shoes were bought for my husband who has CP and has great difficulty getting his shoes on. I usually have to help him with this. These shoes have made it so much easier for me to get his shoes on.

My son always has trouble with shoes fitting over his braces. We got Billy footwear in the past but the zippers would always blow out after a few weeks because of the pressure from the braces. Bringing the zippers more to the middle of the shoe has been a great improvement! We are very excited he has different choices for shoes now! Thanks Billy!!!!

Excellent shoe. Lighter weight than other Billy's. Zipper could be wider width, and with a more comfortable pull.

The small zipper makes it very difficult for a quadriplegic to pull it up. I think there should've been a much larger industrial zipper there that makes it easier to zip it up. It was very difficult even for me to help him by trying to zip it up myself. A large plastic zipper is needed to make it function properly.

We purchased these the end of April. It is now September and the shoes are falling apart. The sole is separating from the shoe. Very dissatisfied with the shoe for how much we paid for it. Zappos will not give me refund for the shoe or replace. They will only give me 15% off for a new shoe. Extremely disappointed in customer service.

I was really hoping these shoes would have worked for my 10 year old son. He has an SMO & AFO and these shoes do not fit. I was looking for a more athletic looking shoe for him. There doesn't seem to be much variety for AFO/SMO wearers.
