My son wears an AFO so requires two different size shoes. We've had a difficult time finding shoes that fit over his brace but having to buy two separate pairs adds to the stress of shoe shopping for him. The customer service team has been incredibly helpful when it comes to making this an easy and seamless process for us. They not only helped with my order but gave me detailed instructions on how to order in the future so I don't need to reach out to them every time. The shoes are great for over AFOs.

I absolutely love them & adore them, ~however~ not nearly as much as I had hoped I would. I'm a little bummed out. I waited a month to review just to be sure of things. Pros: ---They look really cool and pretty, the photos on the website don't do them any justice. ---Super easy to get on & off. Makes putting on shoes less of a struggle to do and less painful for my hands. Cons: ---Entierly flat bottom on the inside. In turn, there's absolutely zero arch support at all. I'll need to get inserts when I can afford to for any sort of wear over a couple hours. Otherwise the bottom of my feet start to ache. ---Around the ankle is incredibly stiff (moreso than any other shoes ive ever gotten) & even after a month of daily wear there is no change. No matter how tight or loose they are, after just a little walking (less than an hour) they are pressing into the back of my ankles. That's causing lots of pain & lingering tenderness. Overall I may buy again, but a different style for sure. That is when I see a different style one I would actually wear on the site anyway

I thought these shoes were designed to be used with orthotics, but I'm still having to purchase longer laces to make them work with my daughters AFO's/SMO's,

Picked these out for my daughter. She LOVES them! She inherited my insanely flat feet and wears orthotics. So we got these and she never wants to take them off!

We LOVE everything about how helpful this shoe is to our daughter with Down syndrome who wears orthotics. It's been awesome to watch her gain independence by being able to put on her orthotics and the shoes by herself! Our only recommendation is a stronger zipper attachment. The cloth breaks within a couple weeks every time; then we hook a key ring on there instead.

We ordered shoes of this brand because 2 years ago we bought shoes for our son, and they were perfect. This model fits well on wide feet. But this model is heavier than the one we bought before. Also, the zipper is quite tight.

Not a negative review just sharing experience to possibly help others. We are now ordering third pair, the extra wide, since regular and wide were not wide enough for our sons AFO braces. He is a small size (in build) 10 year old boy who wears size 4.

I got the XDR because my 34 year old daughter, who wears a size one cannot fit in even the wide shoes. Her feet aren't wide, they are just pudgy, like a babies still, from never walking. I wish the foot part was a little deeper. So she could get he regular ones. These look really big for a size 1, but at least these will work. I cannot find any regular closed toes shoes that will fit her anywhere. These are he best I have found.

These are awesome but the zipper clasp could be a little stronger as one has already broke

We are very pleased with this shoe! My son doesn't need braces, which is the main function of the issue. Rather, he has very long and wide feet with a narrow heel and a high arch. We normally have to buy shoes with shoe laces to accommodate his feet, but his school required Velcro. Finding Velcro shoes in size 3 is very difficult, so we decided to try these. We are very pleased! He will be able to zip the shoe from his toe upwards with no problem. The only thing that bothered our son was the "weird feeling" towards his toe. I think it was the feeling of the zipper. (My son is on the autism spectrum, so he has sensory needs.) If you have a kiddo who has ridiculously wide and tall feet, this is a great shoe to try out!

My kid's physical therapist recommended this shoe brand. My kid (4 y.o) and I love these shoes. He loves the zipper. The only downside of em is that I wish they had one or two specific shoes that had the sole a bit harder, so it doesn't bend so easily for the kids that TIPPY TOE walk. Other than that great quality.

Bought these for my Granddaughter. She has first pairs a few months ago but was already out grown. She will be learning how to walk in these new ones and they are really pretty. I will be visiting in 6 weeks and see how she is progressing and will update review then. She is very strong and these shoes will help her to improve her whole life.

These work beautifully with my son's SMO. He can put these on himself and has shown more interest in wearing his brace with them because they are comfortable and his feet aren't pinched. I love that we can order two differently sized shoes! One star removed because while we love our Billy's, we have had the zippers fail prematurely on multiple pairs. These are still the best shoes we've found that support our active, SMO-wearing toddler, but that darn zipper seems to be a fairly consistent flaw when a kid uses the shoes as much as ours does.

These shoes fit perfectly over my daughter's AFOs. She is currently a size 7 but I ordered a size 9 extra wide.

my second pair - love the design. zipper sometimes binds up, but very functional overall.
