I really do love these shoes as my son wears AFOs and it is a good option. Some feedback to consider for why I gave this product a 3 is because there are some improvement that can be made. A lot of kids with medical conditions that affect their gait buy this product. With that in mind the rubber on the bottom of the shoe could be stronger material. My son will wear down the front due to his gait within a couple of months. Sometimes the zippers on the shoes will also fail before he has out grown the shoe do due rubbing from his gait. A material to give this product strength on the front of the shoe would help so much. Otherwise I love this shoe as it makes it easy to put on with his AFOs.

Comfy, but if you drag your toes you will rip the sole off really quick. Me 3 days and I need a new sole. Cheaply made

After wearing these for about 3 weeks the seal between the botfom of fhe heel and the rest of thw shoe stafted to peel apart

We bought these shoes for our son who wears SMOs. These are not the first pair of Billy shoes that he has had over the years but this is the first pair in which the zipper has broken within 2 months of wearing. It is disappointing as they normally last us about a six months to a year before we need to order new ones due to foot growth or normal wear and tear. This is also the first time we got the extra wide width to accommodate the smos, i don't know if that is part of the problem. I still recommend these shoes for those with SMOs, or DAFOs as they are great shoes, however i hope that these zipper issues will be addressed and fixed as they are not cheap shoes.

Great concept, poor quality. Zipper jas come apart from shoe, and zipper teeth broken in 2 weeks.

I have bought several pairs of these because I love how they fit my daughter's AFOs. These are the only pair of shoes that she can put on herself and that I don't have to spend 15 minutes helping her with a shoe horn and having her push and push to get her shoes on. I took away one star because of the premature zipper failure. I ended up buying 2 more pairs because I these are the only shoes that fit around her AFO. I am hoping that the company can work on making the zipper more durable. The previous pairs were in good shape; it was just the zipper that broke.

These are great shoes and a phenomenal company. We love the patterns offered, but sometimes you just need a classic navy blue.

A great shoe for use with orthotics. The zipper makes it easy to put on and take off. The ability to adjust the laces to accommodate the braces is absolutely perfect. A well made sturdy construction. I strongly recommend this shoe.

Very comfortable. I have to buy split sizes, as my shoes sizes are different plus I don't have by 2 pairs. Billy is willing to provide split sizes as regular one pair.

These shoes work so well with my son's AFOs. So glad we found out about Billy shoes- finding shoes is not a struggle anymore.

My son had CP and LNS and these shoes are recommended by 3 of his doctors and his orthotists. My son loves how easy they are and how they come in cool colors

My daughter's favorite color is red and this has become the only shoe her SMOs will comfortably fit into. About to purchase 2 more!

These shoes are functional and fashionable. We get complements on them everywhere we go!

I don't know if BILLY Footwear knew what they were doing when they did this but their newest high top has a notch at the heel. This makes them perfect for articulating AFO's because the screws won't rip holes in the lining .

I'm so happy that Billy exists! As a mom to a special boy who wears AFOs the only shoes that fit him are Billy's. I appreciate a company that thinks of all sizes!

The sneakers are comfortable, cute and my orthotics fit in them very well.
