These are perfect for my son's AFOs! They are easy to put on and off and allows enough room for his feet!

It's such a fly pair of sneakers. I needed a pair to go with basically everything for the summer months. So cute and comfortable. They make my feet look extremely big. Other brands make my feet look too big and wide, or either too small and uncomfortable. Now my feet are very comfortable.

Amazing new style of shoe that is perfect for our son who wears AFO braces. We got the wide version after using the sizing chart on the Billy website and it was a great fit! He loves the look and style and I love the functionality of it fitting so easily.

Well made, nice looking shoe that fits my son's orthotic. Wonderful to finally have options for hard to find fit. In addition, the zipper allows for independence for him.

These shoes are amazing for kiddos with AFO's. They took the stress out of shoe shopping. I'm hoping they make more styles in the future with the same AFO fit!

My son started wearing these shoes yesterday with his ortho inserts and so far so good. He seemmed comfortable and was able to run and jump around. I got him the extra wide shoe and his ortho inserts fit nicely.

My daughter really likes these shoes, the only complaint we have is that not all the billy shoes come in extra-wide. This limits the shoes she can get. She loves many styles, but alot of them do not come in extra-wide to fit over her AFO's.

Even tho we like it a lot I had to return it,I order extra W for my boy but it was way to wide, love the style, we order another pair just wide and it was perfect, I'll be ordering the same kind of shoes as soon as I get my money back from the return.

Feet perfectly my 10 year old AFO. Large enough give room for foot bed as well as lenght. Room at the front give room to toes. Very confortable my son love them.

These sneakers are very well made, but unfortunately they do not fit over our daughter's AFOs. Though she has very small and narrow feet, her AfOs have an inner bootie and are bulky. We have bought other Billy shoes for her to wear when she is without her braces and they are so easy to put on!

These shoes are wonderful. Please choose a different carrier for delivery. The Pony Express would have gotten them to my residence faster than FedX

I use them with my son's sure step orthodics and they provide a solid base for them. He's a kid that plays and hikes outside a lot, and even a few days into him owning them the outer material is chipping off. The zipper gets caught some and the laces you definitely have to double knot a lot. So it's a bummer to have these issues with an expensive shoe. With few choices for what fits over these orthodics, we're kinda stuck with them.

Zipper on the side broke not even a week later so it's hard to zip up once orthotics are on my kiddos foot. Other than that the shoes are super cute and colorful and not so obvious that it's for an orthotics fitting.

Love that we have a tennis shoes style shoe for our girl. But I'm worried the laces are going to break and we just got the shoes about two weeks ago. The laces are thin compared to the laces that are on the high top shoes.

We purchased these for my son to wear with UCBL inserts. Because the insert causes his heel to sit high, the back of these shoes are too low to keep his foot from sliding out while walking.

Work great Comfortable for my daughter.. I do need to remove the soles to fit better .. I wish the Extra Wide fit had more styles.. however very happy

Purchased these, only worn three times and the tab for the zipper broke off. I cannot zip them without the tab, because the string is too short, and there is no way to "fix" them. All my other shoes I love, and they do not have this new "tab" style. If Billy Footwear is going to go with the tab feature, they will need to perfect the sturdiness of the tab.

Daughter was excited to get these shoes that are a much cuter style and brighter colors compared to the high tops. However the zippers have much smaller teeth than the high top zippers, and they zip around a smaller portion of the shoe (the track is near the laces instead of out by the edges). Together the tighter turns and smaller little fragile plastic teeth made for fussy zippers. The zippers don't want to go around turns and once even skipped teeth this the first trial zips with no foot in the shoe! Then when my daughter tried to put them on they were just as frustrating, requiring wiggles and pulls of encouragement around the corners. Nothing like the one smooth ziiiiiip of the high tops, which she does in a flash. A fail at accessibility/independence for my daughter. Plus since the zippers are fussy and feel cheap, I do not trust they will last long. Disappointing as the zippers are the defining feature of Billy shoes. So the cute, AFO friendly, bright and cheery rainbow shoes were sadly sent back. Would love to have a pair of these shoes with a strong, smooth, quality zipper.

I ordered these for my son with AFOs based on what his orthotics tech said regarding the re-enforced toe and being designed for people with orthotics. But unfortunately the bottom material started to peel off after one day. My son walks on his tippy toes and drags his feet sometimes. Not ready for tippy toe walkers yet. So once a hole starts, the shoe's generally don't last very long. These are super nice shoes and I would worth the money but for normal gait walkers.
