I tried both the six wide and extra wide because I have bunions and arthritis. I’m keeping the six wide and will use the optional arch insert. Be careful with that thing because it can cut you if you’re not! However, it’s a great idea and I will be using it. The fit is nice and snug where needed, customizable with the three straps. I bought them to wear around the house because I was tripping over my old Birkenstocks and I’m not supposed to walk barefoot anymore having plantar fasciitis. I’m not sure how these would hold up on the street but basically I use my new balance for streetwear. I love Zappos service and policies and always shop here first.

These are GREAT. I especially like the multiple velcro closures which allow for a custom fit AND to take them off quickly without disturbing that fit.

Wore these sandals all day yesterday, no break in time needed. Very comfortable, like walking on a cloud. I took advantage of the insert included for extra arch support. You just lift the heel part (give it a good tug) and push the insert in. The straps are easy to adjust for further comfort. The style is just okay, but my goal was comfort. Why can’t orthotic shoes be fashionable?

So I ordered these a half size up...fail. BUT I am going to buy them in my size because wow are these soooo comfy. I so want them! And it offers other arch accommodations inside box to help you. The only thing I would change would be to allow the back strap behind heel to be tighten up without the strip of material being attached. It bunches up a little. But otherwise a great shoe!

I’m very impressed with the fit and feel of the Orthofeet Malibu sandal. I have worn them a bunch in the past two weeks and they work well for an active person. If you suffer from foot aches I say yes!!

I do not yet have a feel for the Orthofeet sizing, so I have ordered another pair of the Malibu sandal. They seem to run longer than my size in a SAS shoe. Anyhow, I haven't given up, and appreciate Zappos for making it possible to get shoes quickly to their customers and quickly process returns.

Great sandals. I love the adjustable straps on the fore foot, ankle and heel. Great for days when my feet are swollen. The Velcro makes adjustments quick and easy. Highly recommend.

ALL Orthofeet shoes I've had have been GREAT, and these are no exception! I took them out of the box, put them on, and went for a walk right away; very comfortable.

Very pleased with this purchase. Shoes are soft and comfortable, yet very supportive! Always count on Zappos for a good outcome.

REALLY comfortable. These sandals are adjustable at the toe, ankle and heel. The arch support can be improved with an inset. Another reviewer referred to them as "ugly". True, they aren't the height of fashion, but they are fine.

The sandal felt very comfortable, but the toe area felt cramped and uncomfortable even though they were a wide width.

Use the insert supplied for additional arch support & it worked well. Nice to have sandals w/ great arch support.

They feel fabulous and are still easy to quickly and snugly secure.

My foot is between 7 and 7.5. I ordered a 7.5, but the straps are fashioned so that I could not tighten them enough to make them fit.

Footbed really cushy. Felt luxurious. Problem with adjustability of heel strap.

Comfortable and perfect for a day of walking.

The main problem was that the front strap cannot be adjusted for fit. It is stitched in place. Without adjusting the strap, the sandal does not fit right.
