I love them, these are, of course, based on the original adidas Campus trainers the proper old-school ones from back in the day, when trainers were suede, solid, and worn by everyone from terrace regulars to hip-hop royalty. If you remember the originals (and I do), these feel like a respectful modern update rather than some desperate midlife reboot. Think "classic album remastered," not "awkward reunion tour". The Campus 00s are proof that you can revisit a classic without embarrassing yourself. They're comfortable, stylish, nostalgic in the best way, and versatile enough to justify owning more than one colour which I absolutely do not need but will probably buy anyway.
