I typically wear a 7W in most shoes. I wear a 7.5 Wide in my Brooks Ghost Athletic Shoes. I have need a wide & somewhat deep toe box. I ordered the 7W. I wear orthotics from "The Walking Company" and find the ABEO line of shoes to really work for my foot "Most" of the time because they don't sell wide. Although the orthotic/footbed that comes in this shoe is much better than 95% of shoes on the market, it was not fantastically comfortable for me. I wore the shoes around the house at various times of the day, with fresh feet, and tired feet, and concluded they were not going to work for me. 1) I LOVE the look of them. They are stylish and fun! (which sometimes is hard to find in shoes that have a removable footbed for orthotics. 2) They are well made 3) They have a very supportive insole with arch support 4) They look good on my feet and with jeans. (However, If I was to keep them I would switch out the white laces for gray ones) 5) All that said, they were not "springy" enough for me - they didn't offer any internal cushioning. I wear the Brooks Ghost because they have Level 5 "Cushioning". I wear the Walking Company orthotics because I feel the cushioning in them. I felt I couldn't justify the price of these shoes when one of the main selling points of these shoe/brand is the footbed & orthotic.

These are my go-to shoes, for sure! Comfortable, stylish, fun! I get so many compliments -- I'm an old broad (in my late sixties) and these make me feel young. They're kicky, and they offer enough support that my broken hip-side leg is fully supported. A smart, stylish choice, in my view.

I always have a difficult time getting a good fit because of bunions. These fit perfect!

Very cute shoes, but they didn't do much to support my foot. I have Revitalign sandals and really like them, but the support for a high arch just wasn't there in this shoe.

I really like how soft and flexible this shoe is! It is very cute, wearing them now. The insole is really supportive, almost as good as my orthotics. I did not have such good success with other models in this brand but I love these black corduroy cuties. The velvety fabric is super black and sharp looking. The cream colored laces add a snappy contrast to give these sneakers a little more style. Perfect for errands and shopping. I wanted a shoe to wear with my leisure wear that did not look like gym shoes or trainers. Leisure sneakers, perfect.

I wasn't expecting to like these shoes as much as I did! They're actually very wide for a wide, maybe could have done a regular width. They inside sole does leave some staining on my socks from the color of the sole but not enough for me to hate these shoes. I would recommend these for anyone with wide feet who struggles to find cute shoes like these.

It's a bit premature to have a thorough review, but on arrival I feel very good about the selection of this style and fit. I have not tried them with my orthotics inserted; I've not tried them for walking outside. However, they seem well constructed; they feel very comfortable; and they are attractive.

I wanted some cute, “nicer” sneakers to wear out shopping and to work. You know, comfy like sneakers but not clunky like running shoes. These are perfect!! I ordered 7.5 wide (my normal size), and they fit perfectly. Love the corduroy!!

I love the corduroy, colors offered and look of the shoe. 8 W is to wide and 8 M is to narrow in the toe.

I really wanted to love these. They are perfect in every way, except their definition of an 11 is 41.5, so they were on short and I had to return them. An 11 is a 42.

These are very cute and soft, but they felt a bit narrow for a wide and unfortunately they put pressure on my little toe because of the spot where the lacing reinforcement hits my foot. IMO they don't have any forefoot cushioning to speak of. If you don't have sensitive feet (like I do) these would be a cute shoe for running around, but not walking long distances.

This was an reorder as had got an 8.5 wide previously that was too big in the heel. So tried 8.5 medium and this was okay in heel but, too narrow in forefoot. Hated to return as really liked these shoes.

8.5wide in Navy color was very good looking . Ordered wide as many of these type shoes run narrow. I have foot swelling so thought needed wide. However the shoes were too wide in the heel area. May reorder in medium.

They were not what I was hoping for. I have very difficult feet to find comfy shoes for, I am a senior citizen and shopping for shoes has become tedious. Not the fault of Zappos.

Love the look and feel of these shoes. I get a lot of compliments.

Good school shoes

Size 9me in Blue ordered was too long and wide. Loved color and the corduroy but, just too big.

doesn't look like the photo, in pictures it has a multi tone gray look, but in person it's all the same gray all over. And the sock is very flat, no support at all. It is comfortable but not supportive, so I will not be keeping it. Too expensive for the quality unfortunately.

I was so disappointed in this shoe. As soon as I tried them on, I knew they were a bit too large. But the worst part was that they had zero support along the sides because they are cut too low, especially after I put my orthotics in them, and they are way too soft. Also, the part where you lace them up is cut so skimpy, to the point where they don't come up high enough over the top of your foot when you lace them. Even with my fairly narrow feet, the lacing holes don't even come close to meeting. That wouldn't be too bad except then there's the too wide, ugly white laces that seem to dominate the entire shoe. No thanks!! Let's face it, the shoe is cheaply made. I will stick with Skechers and Dansko (although Skechers have cheapened their shoes too). I have a pair of Skechers arriving tomorrow. I hope I don't regret giving them another chance, but if I do I will go directly to Skechers (again) with my dissatisfaction. I have always been happy with Zappos service and thus far, they don't disappoint, but I do believe that they should pass negative comments onto their suppliers . . . and maybe they do!
