The design of the front part of the sole, which rises from the ground under your toes, feels a bit weird at first. However you quickly get used to this and it does give you a bit of a push-off/boost with each step while running. They are also very cushioned and comfortable and a good "true to size" fit. Great running shoe and would recommend for other runners.
