pain to lace right and the plastic trim in the heel is all you can feel. it's all a bit too much engineering for a decent set of trainers

Great running shoes. Takes some time to break in but once you do, they are very comfortable

Use this shoe mainly for long runs, but you could definitely use this for speed workout or as a budget race option.

Takes a bit of time to break in. However, once it's broken in, it's comfortable enough to daily.

I have owned the Boston 10's , now was time to buy the next version, upper is lighter and more breathable and the ride is sturdy, I like the sole of this shoe many people say it's too harsh but its preference I love it, and I know it will bed in the more I use them, a great all round shoe

After about twenty miles of breaking in they feel great. Perfect middle ground between cushy and responsive. Great all around daily trainer.

Speedy shoes and responsive. But I really hate its lace that always loosen up.

Incredibly responsive when it comes to picking up the pace. Only complaint is about the laces but those can be replaced if it's off-putting enough.

Comfortable & responsive. Overall a good fit although I have used Boston models for many years and getting the right size with this one has been a challenge. They come up bigger than all previous one. Only real negative is the lace eyelets. Really don't like the lower loops, please give back proper eyelet holes. These loops reduce options too much.

Disappointing overall product. Unlike some of the other Adidas footwear products, I don't get the feeling that I get when I put on and walk with an Ultraboost 5X.

I got a good deal on them, that's why I bought them in the first place. They are a decent pair for the price but there are some good upgraded models worth looking into and investing.

There is no cushioning on the tops of the shoe sides. The outsides of the shoe dig into my ankles. I don't think I've ever experienced that before.

They provide firm support throughout - good for long distance runs. The outer construction is pretty solid, and I won't worry about materials wearing through any time soon, if ever. I have a hard time getting the fit tight in the heel. I've tried tying them tighter than normal, but they can only be tied so tight before the knot becomes uncomfortable due to the thin tongue. They are pretty narrow - not wide foot friendly.

The collar Lining of the shoe was stiff without the soft cushion and uncomfortable for a long run.

Rare dissenting voice here. I trust its a good shoe based on other reviews. It made a lot of sense for me in theory based on previous types of running shoes I've used and favored. This one just didn't work, always felt beat up leg-wise, never felt like a comfortable fit, didn't pop. Running shoes can be highly personal and quirky - who knows.

In short, the Adizero Boston 12 is a fantastic, cushioned trainer platform let down by an awful tongue design. As a neutral trainer it excels, with responsive cushioning on a slightly rockered sole that encourages an efficient midfoot strike. Minimal lateral stability, but this is a road training shoe and the sole thickness is not ridiculous like some modern trainers. The toebox has a generous width to let the forefoot splay properly while the midfoot and heel are held securely. The big head scratcher is Adidas' decision to put the thinnest, most uncomfortable, lightweight racing tongue in a trainer. I can only wear my thickest socks with these shoes; otherwise it's immediate blisters where the tongue meets the top of the foot. No variation of alternate lacing could fix this. Adidas, I don't care if the shoe weighs another ounce because it's a trainer!

It's not for everyone. If you're after a daily runner this is not it. I found the cushion very stiff, uncomfortable and constantly giving me blisters. I have an arched foot which seems to make it worse. I've done around 30km in it so far, hopefully it will break in and get better.
