Great looking shoes. I wish they were wider, tight from the sides.

Love the shoes but would have preferred a rubberized sole. Otherwise very comfortable and soft.

For the price, there should have been an accompanying shoe bag for the shoes. Overall, quality of the leather was somewhat disappointing as it felt the leather wasn't top of the line leather.

Stylish but needs to be broken in!

Size runs VERY small. I'm almost always a solid 9 1/2 shoe, and the 9 1/2 was very tight.

All in all, I liked the shoes. The look was fine. The fit was fine too. But the noise when walking was unacceptable and it didn't matter the surface you were walking on. Sorry, I had to return them.

I love these shoes, this is the third pair I own. My only complaint is they squeak excessively. I don't know what I can do to alleviate this embarrassing noise. My other pairs did the same think for months before they stopped making noise.

The shoe was a sloppy fit, even with an insert. You definitely need to carry narrow widths.

Love the shoes but they squeek and creak still after 5 days wearing them all day.

Had a similar pair from 10+ years ago that finally wore out after near daily use. This pair was extremely narrow. I had to return. Ordered the XC4 M/W fit and was able to leave the medium insert in as removing was too wide.

Beautiful shoes but much too narrow. Size 10 1/2 seems to be closer to size 10. Returned. Would love a wider version of this shoe.

beautiful shoe that unfortunately squeaked unbearably and almost embarrassingly. fix that issue and i'd purchase again. had to return.

When walking, the leather emitted a loud squeaking sound. Returned them on 12/19

Shoe needs more padding on the inside foot bed. Shoe is not comfortable at all, very dissatisfied.

Shoe feels like it is 1/2 size too small.

Wore a hole in the soles after 8 months terrible quality. Would not recommend.

Stamped on the sole with a "genuine leather" stamp, which is one of the lowest grades of leather. Upper is unevenly tanned with streaks of dye in spots. Salt got on the heel when I was walking through water where snow had melted and left discolored dots on the side of the heel. Tried using vinegar and water, and I am unable to remove it. My heel clipped the uppers once while walking, and it put a small tear in the upper. For poorly made shoes though, they fit well.

Shoes squeak so loudly the are unwearable. Returned for replacement, hoping it is a one off issue and not a problem with the design

I love my shoes! Johnston & Murphy have the best selection of men's shoes and clothing. They've been a favorite of mine for a long time. Always a pleasure doing business with them.

I bought 2 pairs (Burgundy & Navy) they look amazing, Unfortunately the Footbed doesn't have much cushion, and they hurt my feet, I have lots of J&M shoes and this is my First EVER 1 star review... I'm returning the Blue ones since they haven't been worn... too bad I already wore the Burgundy ones and can't take them back for a exchange... I recommend J&M to all my friends... But this show is the Exception. Good looking but not Confortable at all...
