The shoes are very comfortable, casual everyday shoe.

The shoe style and design provides for a more elegant and sophisticated look with casual attire, and also styles well with slacks and sports coat.

I wait until the price gets to a reasonable point and buy a pair, love the shoes

I friggin LUV style....its just too narrow in the front...but I Luv the appearance so much that I really really don't care...so I would never give them up.... EVER

I was in need of another loafer type of shoe and this one was perfect. Cannot go wrong with the classic penny.

Stamped on the sole with a genuine leather stamp, which is one of the lowest grades of leather. Upper is unevenly tanned with streaks of dye in spots. Salt got on the heel when I was walking through water where snow had melted and left discolored dots on the side of the heel. Tried using vinegar and water, and I am unable to remove it. My heel clipped the uppers once while walking, and it put a small tear in the upper. For poorly made shoes though, they fit well.

Well made and toe box is a bit tight. Im hoping it will break in and become more comfortable.

Dont bypass these anymore! Through a bit of experimentation, I found the squeak issue ( and it IS major) is caused by friction between insole and outsole solution is powder between the two just sprinkle it under the arch pad and swish it around MAJOR improvementable to sneak up on coworkers! Love the quality of these shoes

Great looking shoe, fit is fine, but there is a squeak that was more than your average "breaking in" squeak. The sheep skin insole does create a fair amount of noise. Friction was the cause of the sound so I thought to lubricate the friction with some gold bond powder. Shook it around a little bit to get in all the nooks and crannies and it works like a charm. I do not regret this purchase. Just had to take an extra step out of the box. Definitely beats building a pair of loafers myself.

They squeak loudly every step you take. Its obnoxious

I bought a size 12 which were too small, they were sent back over a week ago to exchange for a size 13 from a Johnston and Murthy store in Beachwood, Ohio and havent heard a word for 2 weeks?

Shoes are great and comfortable. They are my second pair. However they squeak when I walk. Hopefully this will go away with time.

Great shoe and very breathable. Went sockless with these shoes for my wedding rehearsal dinner photoshoot and didnt break an ounce of sweat. Good leather and solid construct. Highly recommend

Love the style & color. Ordered online because the stores didnt have in stock. Arrived on time but (although the size I usually wear), were tight. Returned them to the Natick MA store where store manager recommended 1/2 size larger, took back the online pair, revised the paperwork & arranged shipment of correct shoes direct to my home, all at no cost. And she was cheerful and efficient. COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED!!

The shoes look great and seem very well made. The materials are of high quality. They are a bit on the narrow size, but otherwise fit well.

Run slightly small, but fit very well and feel great on your feet. Its a great look that dresses up or down depending on what youre trying to achieve.

I had to order 1/2 size bigger, didn't like such a tight fit. They did not seem like they would stretch out. For a $175 pair of shoes, the stitching around to sole doesn't look as clean as I would have liked. I am sure it won't matter after wearing them for awhile. I am expecting these will not fall apart and last for quite some time. Otherwise, they are a bit on the high side.

It is the first time I buy shoes on line for the fear of not fitting right. My fear became true. BUT the return and substitute experience for a half larger size was smooth. So kudos to you. The new size is right and am enjoying it.

Fits larger than size 12. When you walk the sides of shoes wave out in the middle. Not the typical JandM comfortable fit! Dont buy theses $175 Hal.. pennies! First pair of AJ &M I bought over 20 years not a good fit and seems cheaply made!
