The product was as advertised plus the material seems like it will wear well.

I have only used it twice since I bought it but I already love it. Can fit everything I need for a 2-3 day trip including my running gear with my sneakers and my L. L. Bean toiletry hanging case fits perfectly into the side pocket. Socks and underwear fit nicely into the other one. The C shaped zipper on top makes it really easy to get something out of the bag without having to empty it all out. Small pockets on inside to organize small items plus a small zip pocket in the front are very handy. Is very comfortable to carry. A little larger than I expected but that means it can fit more stuff, so I wouldn't call that a negative. I bought the gray one and it looks great.

Not only was this what we hoped for, it was even better. Had been looking at duffels for travel and nothing measured up. This certainly did. It is definitely worth the money!

What an outstanding duffle! Although it's slightly larger than I was looking for, it's ideal to for the gym or travel. It has several pockets, both zipped and webbed inside pockets inside the large section of the bag. What a great design! Extremely useful!

The Cordura Duffle was purchased for my husband's frequent trips. Whether it's in the car or on a plane it is just the right size. No complaints!

This is the second one purchased in our household. Just the right size, light weight but durable. Has the right number of compartments and zipper pockets.

I not only love how the bag looks but its been easy to use. The perfect bag for trips to the gym or on airplanes.

I bought this to replace an older canvas duffle from elsewhere. The craftsmanship is great. The main compartment is huge and the side pockets are generous. Can't wait to take it on more adventures.

Excellent product with many pockets. Just the right size. Was easy to carry. I'm able to put my medium sized LL Bean toiletries bag in one of the side pockets. I would highly recommend this bag.

I ordered one this duffle bag in charcoal gray for my husband's birthday and he absolutely love it. I was really happy with all the details and the comfortable and durable waterproof material. I will suggest to anyone to get who is looking for a great quality duffle to get this one. I will post pictures in my next review

Most of the recent LL Bean bags are duffles without end pockets and only a tiny front pocket. Not great for traveling. This bag returns to some of the older styles with functional and practical end-pockets. The material is very sturdy and has a classy lining to protect items. There is a mesh pouch on the inside as well to keep other items separated. I wish the front outside pocket was slightly larger to accommodate a few more items. I got the small bag which I use as a carry on. It holds a lot for its size. I really like this bag.

I bought this as a gift for my husband as he was in desperate need of a nice looking travel duffel that was practical, but presentable. He loved it! It's large and roomy but the size was still easy to carry on his 6'1" shoulders. Many compartments and pockets for all his smaller items and a roomy interior for his clothing. He has used it many times since as his overnight ski-weekend bag. I also had it monogrammed which added a nice touch to the gift overall, the lettering came out beautifully and was visible but not tacky-sized. The price point is a little high for a duffel, but I fully expect him to use this for many years to come so it will eventually pay for itself.

I like the bag. It holds a lot and appears to be very sturdy. The color was just like the picture. I would have given 5 stars but it got heavy and I wish I had ordered one with wheels.

Overall I love the bag. Good compartments. Tough material. Medium is the perfect size for carrying stuff back and forth to the fire station. My one disappointment is that the shoulder strap connection and anchor hardware is plastic. For the price and in comparison I to other bags I expected it to be metal.

Medium duffle has plenty of room for gear. Made of sturdy cordura fabric, top opening is large and provides easy access, side pockets are very useable size. Only recommendation would be to upgrade this duffle with heavier duty zippers.

It's a great weeklong bag. It's a tad bigger than what most airlines accept for having on hand. What I've discovered is that on larger flights it fits fairly well and can fit no problem. For the smaller connection flights, it doesn't fit as generously and takes up a whole bin. I am cautious traveling on the smaller flights - however you can usually check it for free if there isn't room by the time you board

It's a great bag that's well made, the only is that it is a little bigger than I thought. I should have ordered the small. Great bag

This bag is perfect size for a weekend. Always appreciate style and quality of an LLBean. Gave a 4 because the zipper broke. I am sure LLBean will stand behind it.

I love my new duffle bag. plenty of pockets, easy to pack, lots of room.

The medium size is pretty generously sized, perfect for a weekend away, or even a week if you're a light packer. Quality is nice although I haven't actually used it yet. I gave four stars because of what everyone else is saying, the fabric is a bit soft and the bag doesn't stay up/open which can make packing slightly more annoying, but it's not a deal breaker. I like all the pockets and handles.

Bought for my grandson and he loves it. Big enough to use as a travel bag but small enough to use as ma carryon. Quality seems to be good; time will tell with more usage.

This is a high quality bag, but I misjudged the size relative to my size and the heaviness of the bag when it's full. Fine for a stronger/bigger person.

Great bag! Got these for my teenagers. Love that they have pockets. I gave this bag four instead of five stars, because the bag lacked "structure," making it harder to pack. The sides just flopped inward while trying to pack. But, otherwise, a good bag for the money!
