I bought this bag in size 'medium' and it's absolutely fantastic for my coastal fishing gear. It easily holds 4 or 5 3500-series Plano lure boxes, an extra spinning reel and spool, as well as my flourocarbon, rubber beads and all 'the small stuff' - hooks, swivels, snaps etc... The zippered top keeps the critters out and when it rains, keeps my lunch protected and my gear dry. Suggestion for the next generation bags: An expandable/pleated pocket with a slightly oversized rain flap (& snap closure) would be nice to have at the end of the bag, especially if it's located directly under the zipper (not plastered on the side) for pliers, hemostat clamp, and other small tools. It'd also benefit from a couple of 'D' rings for an optional shoulder strap. But, as I use it today, it's absolutely great - I wish I could afford a spare.

Excellent quality and exactly what I wanted: an open-top tote bag with sides sufficiently stiff for the bag to stand solidly upright. Perfect size and perfect monogram.

I like this bag and I give it 5 stars. Just for clarification... the fabric is much thinner than the heavy-duty canvas Boat & Tote bags from LL Bean. I wish they offered more colors and full customization like their other Boat & Tote bags.

This is a great tote, easy care and very functional!

I use these for grocery shopping because they are wipe-clean and very sturdy. I do self-checkout with the handheld barcode reader so I just put groceries straight in. The large size is the same width as a shopping cart so you can get a lot in it. The medium is more of a small to me as it's not that tall but it's good for a small quantity of heavy items. I would appreciate a size in-between. Maybe in a nice slate grey?

This bag is awesome. I can literally use this bag for everything and wear it with everything. Its that cool camo color so it basically goes with everything you wear. Lots of looks and compliments on this bag. I regret not getting it engraved. My next purchase, I guess.

Got a pair of these in size Large for saddlebags on my large scooter. Very heavy duty. The waterproof lining is a big plus. These will get a lot of use! Hey LLB, how about this bag in a cross-body style?

This tote which I bought in solid green is the perfect size for grocery shopping--holds enough but not so much that I can't lift it. I am over 65 and the weight of carrying things matters. It has structure so stuff doesn't all smush together, is waterproof inside for cleaning and the straps are just long enough and turned over at the top for comfort so it doesn't dig into you. I am going back for more.

This tote is durable and stylish! I love that initials/monogram can be added. I have given this tote as gifts and also have 2 of my own. Excellent for weekend/daily travel. Very versatile. LL Bean does really stand behind their product. I will order this tote again.

I purchased this bag in the camouflage in the size large. This is a big, sturdy, well made bag that I use for everything from grocery shopping to vacations. Love the camouflage...it makes the bag stylish!

This tote bag is perfect for everyday use as a tote for personal items or for shopping. It is sturdy and appropriate for woman, man or child.

Haven't had a chance to use the tote yet, but it is constructed well and has a nice waterproof lining. The lining does have a bit of a plastic smell which is somewhat offensive, but I am hoping that over time it will dissipate. There is a name tag attached inside which is helpful.

I needed something to carry everything back and forth to work in during the winter. I like that it's waterproof and easy to clean out if I throw a pair of wet shoes in the bag. I originally ordered the large and it seemed really large, so I returned for the medium and it's a little small, but I'm making it work.

Extremely durable, waterproof, lightweight, and perfect for carrying just about anything. The black color makes it look a bit more classy compared to standard off-white canvas. Highly recommend this, especially when it's on sale!

I love this bag! I have the large and throw in stuff for errands or schlepping kids' stuff. very roomy, waterproof interior. only negative is that it has short handles. long handle option would be nice, but i still love it. my uncle saw it and i had to order him one. i also had to buy the small size and use it for laptop and smaller items. highly recommended for the price, quality, versatility and style.

love the level of service on this order..sent quickly and got what was ordered. only problem that happened is that i bought two (zip and no zip) extra large...as the dimensions listed seemed like the right size for what i was looking for. they are huge. we will keep them for travel but they are too big for daily use. Then i ordered the "medium" as the xl was so huge. and they are the size of a ladies purse. much too small to be called a medium. Will return those for the "large". overall the quality is excellent and having never ordered from you, I am loving LL Bean.

Well worth the money. Sturdy, with leak-resistant bottom. Strong -- I've filled it with canned food and lugged in and out of vehicles. It shows no sign of wear or damage. If anything inside leaks, just wipe the lining off. I suspect this bag will outlast me. Best of all it really stands up, unlike cheaper canvas totes. May not sound like much, but when you're trying to fill it using just one hand, this is very useful.

I sent this bag to my daughter to be used as a diaper bag for her newborn son. It is the perfect size bag, and is a great bag for a boy! Great quality as always from LLBean.
