The large tote is a perfect size for pool and beach days. I love the zipper top. The zipper part expands so you can fill the tote to the brim!

We bought Bean canvas totes for our kids to use as beach bags, luggage on vacations, etc. and most of them were in use all the way through college. Thirty years later the now grown kids want them for their children. This one accompanies my grandson to preschool every day.

I ordered three boat and tote bags - for my sister, my three-year-old niece, and me. The bags were embroidered with each owner's name. I loved selecting each person's favorite color from the range of options. A few days after customizing my order online, I saw a coupon online and called LL Bean customer service. The representative happily applied the coupon, saving me nearly $50 on the order! The bags arrived in a timely fashion and looked spectacular! I loved the "made by" tags included in each bag, it felt so personal. I filled the bags for my sister and niece with Easter presents - the prettiest, most functional Easter basket I've ever put together! They absolutely loved their personalized bags and we can't wait to take them on our next girls trip.

I have a large boat and tote with zipper for myself that I bought at least 15 years ago and it still looks like new. This year, I bought a medium size for each of my daughters to use as pool/beach bags. They love them!! They have also used them for sleepovers too. They are sturdy and stylish and they love the monograms! It's a great way to give a great product as a gift and still make it personalized. I have a feeling we'll be back for more!

Fantastic having handles that I can put on my shoulder. Great having a zipper to close. Medium is a good size for traveling on the airplane. Fits under the seat or overhead. Great purchase.

I've ordered multiple LLBean totes over the years, but never the small one. I ordered this one with longer handles and my monogram to use as a summer purse and I'm glad I did. It's a good size - big enough for the regular purse things i carry around but not as bulky as the larger totes when loaded up with a magazine, book, iPad, or towel. I'll use my medium size for that!

I purchased monogrammed Boat and Totes w/ zipper for high school graduation gifts. I customized the colors to the colleges they are planning to attend. Second to cash, this was a reported top gift from several recipients. I've enjoyed my own Boat and Tote for close to 20 years.

It's bigger than an anticipated but that's ok with me. I got two for my kids and each have their own for their sleep overs!

My perfect summer tote!

I use this for travel and the long handles are perfect for being able to throw it over my shoulder.

I have bought a ex- large and large for myself. 5 large for my grandchildren with their names on them. Vacation with grandma for their clothes. 4 medium for grandchildren for their toys and I-pads with their names on them. Love them recommend to everyone.

My teacher had this same LL Bean tote back in the olden day's. So it was the perfect gift for my daughter starting her teaching career in NYC! It's sturdy for commuting on the train, and also makes a great weekender bag and beach bag. I was able to get her favorite color and had it monogrammed. Also the zip top adds that extra bit of security. Thank you for making this tote with the same quality as before. She loves it!

I've bought several canvas LL Bean bags over the years, from extra-large for grocery shopping to monogramed bags for Christmas gifts, and have always been happy with my purchase. They are excellent quality and last forever. Here is my latest - a medium size zip top for my knitting. It's the perfect size for multiple projects and the zipped top keeps the cat out of trouble.

I already have one of these bags and liked it so much that I ordered one for a friend as a gift. She loves it. I use mine for travel -- it's waterproof and strong and it holds a lot of items. Handles are a nice length -- I can carry in hand or over my shoulder. These last forever -- you will wear out before the tote will.

I absolutely love my new tote bag!! It is perfect for my needs as a busy high school teacher and adjunct professor. It holds *everything* I need for a full day of education: laptop, mouse, and cords; supply case with pens, pencils, and a stapler; envelope folders for each class; two clipboards; and my lunch box and purse! (And the latest novel I'm reading, in hopes of some downtime.) Carrying everything in one bag makes me look less like a bag lady and more like a professional! And, I have no worries about the load. I'm a librarian, so I tote a lot of heavy books back and forth from home to work. Other bags give out quickly to the wear and tear. This bag I can happily fill right up with no worries. I got it with the long handles and I really love them. I can carry it on my shoulder even if it is full.
