Customer Reviews L.L.Bean Zip Top Boat and Tote Medium

Love all the various LLBean totes and bags I've bought thru the years. Would it be possible to start adding a strap or sleeve on back of many of these (nylon, canvas, zippered or open, M, L, XL) bags to slip over the handle of a rolling suitcase? This would greatly add to their versatility. I would definitely pay $5 to $10 more per bag if this were an option. Thank you.

Great bag! I bought one for myself to take my items to and from work and loved it so much I bought one for my friend as a Christmas gift.

This is a perfect size. I actually bought it as a gift for someone who lives a very urban life. The tote is just the right size for carrying her groceries, returning library books, or holding random purchases. It is sturdy, looks good, and the zipper secures its contents. We monogrammed it, so she will always know it is her tote. She loved the color too.

Used as a bridesmaid's gift and she loved it! Highly recommend.

The Boat and Tote is a bargain considering the quality of the item.

Give it a 5 - bottom is sturdy not like others I have - this bag is well made - a little stiff but I really like it and think over time it will soften up - described as small but is far from it- no inside pocket but LLBean has other bags to fill that slot

I got this bag because it is the same one my Mom had when I grew up and now that I'm a mom I had to get it. It's spacious and very durable. I love that it stands up on its own.

These bags are well made and classic. I have bought and returned some of these due to changing my mind on colors/handle lengths/sizes/monogramming, but the product is pretty much always great with very few exceptions. I now have many of these in different sizes, and I know I will get a lot of use out of this one. Medium works well most days for me for work, errands, etc. I like the zip-top for a little extra security, and the open top ones are nice for easily getting into and out of :) These bags are meant to be used and will take years of abuse. Love them!

Very sturdy and well made canvas tote...like the zipper...things don't spill out when tossed in the vehicle!
