Bought this for my 17-year-old daughter. After using it for a couple of weeks, she described it as "perfect, durable, and it holds a lot of stuff."

Best all around backpack. Room for everything. You won't need another one.

Great pack but some stitching came apart by day 3. Pack was replaced and new one is fine. We had the receipt and the store made the exchange very easy.

My daughter got this backpack for high school and really likes it! It looks great, holds her laptop and all her other stuff just fine. She has had a few back surgeries and she said this was comfortable right away when she tried it out. I'm glad. Its a very nice looking backpack!

I bought this beautiful backpack for my daughter who goes all over with her laptop & she loves it. It is just the perfect size for most women.

I bought this to use on a ten day European tour as my personal item. It fit perfectly under airplane seat and in overhead bins. I love the bottom strap (waist strap) as I used it to put backpack on luggage handle when in airports and trains. It also stows away within the shell when not in use. The chest strap adjusts in height so I was able to conch it above my bust to keep pressure off my shoulders, and straps are padded and comfortable. It is very roomy with lots of pockets (without being gigantic), and stands up on its own. The front most pocket fits several passports and other small items for easy access. It is very durable so far as well and even though I wasn't careful, it has not stained and dirt/dust easily wipes off. The front straps I have used for a jacket, a blanket, and even for my daypack sling back. I will be using this also as my daily school bag (teacher) and there is plenty of room for my lunchbox, tablet/computer and sweater. I love that it has two water bottle pockets, and it held my tall bottles perfectly. Five stars for this one! In the pic, you can see how it compares in size to two other LL Bean backpacks.

I bought this book bag and it came 3 days earlier than expected. I always get an L.L. Bean book bag normally the original deluxe or super deluxe but they tend to stick out way too far and pull me back. I was scared when purchase because I thought it would be too small but it is a huge amount of space. I put a normal size folder in for an idea on the size. The only thing I dislike is the blue interior. Other than that I definitely recommend 100%.

I have back problems and the padded shoulder straps and the bag's sturdy construction and design distribute the weight evenly, making it comfortable to carry. There are several versatile, organizational compartments. Whether I am carrying my laptop and a few books or groceries from the supermarket, I feel confident that what I am carrying is well protected. Great style and a LLBean winner!

It is an excellent backpack for work and for travel. It is comfortable to carry and has many zippered pockets for storage. It fits well under the seat in front for air travel and easily fits on top of a carryon roller bag. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Purchased this backpack for a trip to Europe. It was perfect! to carry around during the day. Has lots of space with different compartments so it was easy to access what we needed. Lightweight and comfortable.

This backpack is very comfortable, and I like that it has many different pockets. I think it would be nice to have a small pocket on the inside, not deep, that would hold just a couple of smaller items. However, I love this backpack.

This backpack is terrific - I love it!! I've had it for several weeks now and am wearing it to work (1.5 miles each way) and carrying a laptop, lunch, files and books, and usually also a pair of work shoes. It is perfectly coomfortable. I love the way it holds its shape, and it's the perfect blend of firmness and softness/cushion, both on the straps and the back. I especially love that the material doesn't chafe or pull my clothing; it's very smooth. The teal color is gorgeous and draws lots of compliments. The range of pockets is superbly designed, as is the strap across the top of the chest that keeps the shoulder straps together. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!

I bought this backpack for my wife, as she has a long walk from her parking lot to her work. She loves it and finds it very comfortable.

Picked up this backpack today after much searching online. I looked at other brands online and in stores and found this one to be perfect for my trip to Germany this summer. Nothing beats a backpack while navigating thru the airports allowing your hands to be free. The amount of pockets and their layout gives you plenty of room to store a passport, wallet, glasses, your quart sized bag of 3 ounce toiletry products etc etc. the tablet pocket is perfectly sized. I'll have plenty of room to bring a change of shoes, my snacks, phone and all cords. There are two generously sized side pockets for water bottles. And I'm going to love the bungee cord webbing to stow a light jacket or sweater. I purchased the mineral blue/dark lagoon so it's easy to spot. The fact that it only weighs 1.85 lbs win win. The way it's constructed and put together using high quality sturdy durable materials will provide me many many years of use and enjoyment.
