Was purchased for grandson, hes a junior in high school. This is his 3rd LLBean bag since kindergarten. Expdcts to finish college with this one. I have 11 grands and they average about 5 years per backpack. They pick, i pay. They have lunch boxes too. Those last longer.

It fits all my sons books and school needs and is very strong and has a height to fit his laptop

I ordered this backpack for my high school son. If this one proves to be like the others it will last him through high school and into college. We have loved LL bean backpacks since my we had our first child over 22 years ago. Our twin daughters are still using their kindergarten backpacks and they are in their junior year of college. I will say this one seems a little heavier than some in the past that we have ordered. My son is 6'1 and it fits him perfect. He loves the space it has and the added protection for his chrome book is awesome. Thanks LL Bean for another great product.

My son loves the bag. This is 1st time we bought from LLbean. Color: the color we chose was in the shade of green and it's just the right color green, not too bright. Capacity: there is enough space for my 11th grade son's school supplies. We specifically bought it because he wanted a small extra pocket for his wallet, ID badge, and earpods. He can also hang his chrome book on the side of the bag and umbrella on the side pocket. Just was also the same as the one he had for 10th grade from another brand but this is much better. You could tell by the stitching quality and the material that they used. Price: much more expensive than the other brand-worth it. Shipping: it arrived on time and the packaging was in good condition. I would highly recommend it and would come back and purchase again. I hope the price would be more affordable. We are very satisfied of our purchase

When you live out of your backpack as a medical student you have to have a quality backpack. We purchased this backpack. Very spacious, good padding, shoulder straps are comfortable.

I'm in the respiratory program, and I have to bring all of my textbooks with me to class. I love this bag, and it's so spacious. I have six textbooks, a laptop, headphones, 3 binders, large pencil case, stethoscope case, and more, and it fits everything!

Just looked this backpack up hoping to buy one for my incoming 7th grader. Our oldest son has this pack and it's going strong after 4+ years of daily use - for junior high and now high school (he's going into 10th grade) and also scout camping trips. This pack is so well thought out: tough durable fabric, lots of space, great water bottle pockets, lots of zipper compartments (big and small), strong zipper, loops for clipping carabiners and key chains this list goes on.I've been so happy with it and it's def worth the price. His pack is 2 toned teal and aqua colored with some orange accents. Only complaint is the current color choices, LL Bean! These colors are so drab and no fun pops of color. I get offering a black and a navy and a hunter green but none of these colors appeal to a 7th grade boy! Hoping you'll add some new fun, brighter choices asap!!

Good quality backpack that is expandable enough to cover a long weekend trip (cloths, toiletries, laptop or tablet, etc.), but also adjustable to not be too bulky for daily usage.

I bought this 3 years ago & my HS sophomore has used this as her locker everyday. She loads it up, tosses into the trunk, on the floor etc. I'm amazed it has survived the treatment & held together well. Laptop sleeve, many inner pockets, sturdy zippers, water bottle pockets & strong straps. Heavy duty. Also used it on school trips across country & Iceland. Purchasing another for her junior year & beyond.

Purchased for my mother-in-law who is a nurse. Perfect size to carry the items she needs on a daily basis in a much more ergo-friendly manner than the messenger style pack that was previously in use.

I am an adult and this is the best backpack I have ever owned. I have purchased many llbean backpacks over the years and this one is by far the best. I have owned it for about 4 years now. I use it to go to work (school librarian), I use it to travel as it is great as a second carry on option. It works when just barely full and it works when it is filled to the brim. It has tons of pockets and spaces that are actually useful for what they are intended for. Love love love this backpack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
