Been buying these for 40 yrs. They are the best. Just love.

I have never owned wool socks. Wool meant itchy and bunchy. My cousin suggested I get these and I am a convert. I love cushy, SOFT socks. My feet often get hot and they don't with these. I love them.

I got these socks for my husband and he loves them! They are stretchy, comfortable and warm.

Love these socks! They are so warm and comfortable! Wish they weren't so expensive. Bought them for gifts. My daughter asks for them every year. Have had black color and this year I bought the taupe color. Love them both!

I waited so long to get these socks and am so glad that I finally did. I like them so much that I am going to get the lighter color too. They are a perfect match for the ladies rag wool pullover sweaters. The fit is perfect. They are shaped well, so that they stay put on my foot when I am not weating shoes or slippers. They are the ultimate soft and warm. The long cuff is nice up like when wearing with boots or folded down. They launder beautifully, maintaining size and shape without getting fuzzy. They are a little pricey, but definitely worth it.

These socks are a nice weight and not itchy. If the wearer has a wide width, I suggest sizing up.

I got two pair. They are warm and comfortable. Great for California winters.

I love these socks, they're my go-to for winter! I was worried that they might be scratchy due to the wool but my sensitive skin doesn't have a problem with them. Thick enough to provide warmth but not so thick that they make my shoes too tight. Please offer them in more sizes and patterns (I love the striped ones!)

I would highly recommend these socks, they kept my feet warm when we had very cold weather for the south.

My husband is on blood thinners. I bought these for him as a gift. They are wonderful. They are warm without being too thick, so he can wear them comfortably with shoes. The salesperson at the store, helped me pick these out, they were thinner than I imagined so I didn't really believe they would be warm. My husband loves them and they really have kept him warm.

I broke my ancle a year ago and I need socks to keep the injured ancle warm in our cold climate. These socks do the job. They are heavy enough to keep my feet and ancles warm. They are also machine wash and dry!

A true testament for any product is how many times you re-purchase an item. I have purchased these for at least 50 years. I wear them, I give them as gifts, (always to the delight of my loved ones) I live in these year round. When you live in Maine, it's always a bit cool in the evenings, even in summer! Anyway, these are a classic and please LL Bean do not change these. Do not fix something that's not broken!
