Love my socks. Large is perfect for size 11 women's feet. I just wish they made all socks with a new invention so the heel would not wear out before the rest of the foot.

Love these socks. They aren't the softest socks in the world but they are soft enough. I hate getting cold feet and these socks cure that and fit nice inside my Muck boots

I bought these because of the color. Nice to have rag socks that aren't grey. Seam above toes softens up after first washing

I've been a fan of Bean's ragg wool socks for years; I live on the shore where the wind and the damp can chill you to the bone, and nothing beats these socks. The quality is also excellent, and they will last for many years, so they're worth the price.

A substantial, lofty wool sock with lots of cushion; wool keeps foot warm in winter and cool in summer. My sheep approve!

They are warm and cushion your feet so even on rough ground they feel good. They don't pinch your calves but stay up all day

Comfortable, durable wool socks. Bought additional pairs as these are what I ware a majority of the time year round.

In the colder times of year I need to have warm feet when I am falling asleep. These socks are perfect.... keeping my feet cozy but not overheating through out the night. Then in the morning wear them around the house and into the kitchen when making my coffee and feeding my dogs. I have had two other pairs for a number of years. They wash and dry very well. I do have poor circulation to my lower legs and feet so these socks solve the problem! I bought large so that the socks would not be tight on my legs or feet... a bit loose is comfy.

I ordered a larger size for myself and I think the little bit of extra room helps with the warmth.

I wear 'em with my gardening clogs. They keep my feet warm and provide a snug cushion. They're also easy to (machine) wash and retain their shape.

They look and feel wonderful and will fit my size 10 foot. Sadly, it is warming up right now and I haven't gotten to wear them yet. Maybe next year!

For me, nothing beats straightforward, thick wool socks for keeping warm. My winter garden work boots and tennis shoes are a half size up to accommodate them. The bonus to wool's thickness is that my feet are extra cushioned. I put them on before my feet hit the floor on cold mornings. If you find them slightly scratchy then a pair of cotton socks underneath will help you try them out. Once you realize what a difference they make in your winter outlook the scratchiness factor may disappear as an issue.

Perfect socks for just about anytime. The best time is the cool days around the house and out in the yard working.!!

The wool does not itch! these socks are machine washable. I wear them all year round. These socks are worth the cost ~ they will last many years.

These socks are great! Warm and 'fluffy' enogh to mold to your feet. I work at a golf course and when feet get wet in the spring it can be uncomfortable. Not with these socks! Feet remain warm and DRY with the wool wicking away moisture from the feet. Winter weather, of course, is a no brainer!
