My husband and I did a 10 day Mediterranean Cruise that was port heavy. The Ultralight Stowaway pack was perfect for us. It held our rain gear and water bottles. Light weight and comfortable to wear all day.

This bag can be stuffed to the max and still feel light weight. Only bad thing is the bottle holder, it doesn't support it as well as regular back packs.

This little backpack if just right for a one day travel excursion. It holds just enough.

Great design, cute and light weight. Perfect for a small bag. It will be a good size for a flight that charges for every single bag, it's small enough to pass for free.

It fits a snack and some clothes and has an interior zipped sunglasses pouch. I also like the chest strap as I often have very little on it and the strap keeps it from slipping. It's very handy and a great deal for the price.

I purchased this item to save money on the airlines for a carry on. I was traveling for 3 days. I rolled up 3 outfits and packed essentials only. I was able to travel with enough clothes and essentials. I saved the carry on fees by flying basic economy. I can reuse this for other uses and it even folds into a small pack by folding it inside an interior pocket. LL bean is quality and always well made. Kudos, To LL bean!!

For short day trips/outings this bag works. Adequate room to include your needs for the day. Two side pouches for water. Inside zipper pocket. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is another zippered pocket on the outside as well. Bag is sturdy and well made.

I use this to carry my essentials while I am commuting on my bike to work. It holds shoes, a light jacket, wallet, keys, my lunch, and more

Very comfortable and light weight. When carrying a rain jacket, some snacks, and two small water bottles, hardly noticeable on my back. I just use the shoulder straps, not the waist or sternum strap. If overloaded your results may not be the same as mine. Not easy to repack into its stowaway pocket though. So, I just lay it flat inside my suitcase when packing.

Gave this to my son for Christmas. He uses this going to work on a train.

these are comfortable: not too big, not too hot, good color. I ordered a petite extra small. I live in New Hampshire.

Great for hiking and every day use. I always need a backpack when I'm going to be gone for the day are going to several places and need to carry things along in this backpack provides ample storage and I love the deep pockets on the sides.

I had been looking for a day pack for travel. The Stowaway Ultralight is perfect! It is just the right size and it's well made. Used it on a recent holiday and it was just what I was looking for.

Wowww bought this during the summer this bag may not be light-weight but , I've drove on my motorcycle through rain , I actually use it as my purse the quality is amazing what you expect for a LL Bean product happy with my purchase it wipes down easily definitely water-proof you got to get this backpack it's so durable it's a must have I bought the black & I've used it literally everyday and the price is spot on I adore it thank you for making another awesome product i give it a 5 + !!!

Just got one at local LLB Outlet and went to read reviews on it and one review said there is no way it's stowaway, I immediately gave it a try and was able to stow away with absolutely no problem and under a minute. Just turn internal pocket inside out and pack it in!

Great size and qualiity for everyday use. Purchased as gift for husband and he loves it.

The bag fits into its own internal pocket. Its a squeeze but after battling it for just a minute I won and was rewarded with a small and light package. The straps are comfortable and overall there are nice features. I much prefer carrying this bag to the type with pull cords, which eventually digs into my shoulders.

Very lightweight and easy to carry. Fit my 15" laptop.

Lovely bag. Very well made. Loden green is a great color. It was just two small for two people to stash their medium-weight jackets. Would work best with each person having their own pack, as this one is a small size.
