I bought this same tote in XL 25 years ago, and am pleased LLBean still makes the same high quality canvas totes in Maine today. My old tote is still hanging tough, but it was time for a fresh one after my husband hauled logs at our camp site in my old one - lol. It's my go-to for weekends ski and camping trips since it makes packing a breeze. I just toss my clothes, gear, and cosmetic bag in, and it's easy to carry and retrieve my things quickly with the big opening. That comes in handy especially in the car. I prefer the no zipper option since there is no lip to flop around. Love the personalization feature. Makes a great graduation gift that will last forever.

Such a well-made classic American staple for carrying beach stuff or just about anything! I have one from 30 years ago that I still use!

I purchased two totes at the same time, a medium and a large. I own several of the large size already and have had them for over 20 years and use them weekly for grocery shopping. I love these totes so much, I ordered them for my daughters when they moved out on their own. I never owned the medium size and thought it would work well for smaller shopping trips and also to keep things organized on car trips. I keep the totes in my car so I always have one handy. Great product!

These LL Bean Totes are the workhorses of any tote out there. They're strong, well-made, durable, handy, and can carry a lot without flopping over. My recent purchase was to replace some that I've had for over 20 years and use weekly as my grocery bags. The old ones aren't torn or ripped but they've become stained and are showing their age. There's no sense shopping around for a classic tote. This is the only one you'll ever need.
