Durable bag that I will use forever. The long straps were definitely the best option for me and the medium fits everything for my everyday essentials.

Sturdy, upright and substantial! This bag sits up nicely.

I purchased this bag for shopping excursions as my previous shopping bag choices were not made for the long term. The bag feels nice and holds all my items from the farmer's market.

The bag is sturdy, with stiff sides which hold themselves open, and upright.

WHY did I wait this long to get my first Boat and Tote??? My people have been Mainers and LL Beaners since the dawn of time but here we are and oh my goodness! I got the large, monogrammed, open top bag with long handles, so I could go hands-free and somehow, no matter how much stuff is in it, it's never heavy. Sorcery! I take it everywhere, use it in every store. It makes me feel like I have my life together. I bought a second one, smaller, for toting more things, but that one had the zipper and it didn't work. But this one - the classic, open top, throw things in and go - I'll never be without from now on.

I had similar LL Bean tote bags years ago that disappeared during a couple of moves. They were absolutely outstanding. Now that Colorado outlawed single use bags, I went back to LL Bean. The Large size carries a bunch of groceries without being unwieldy. Very handy as it stands on its own at the checkout counter.. I imagine this bag will last forever.

My aunt got me a monogrammed boat and tote for Christmas and now I gift it to everyone. There hasn't been a single person who hasn't loved it just as much!!
