Best bags in the world. I have one that is almost 40 years old

These bags are great. Very sturdy and smart looking too!

Great bags. We have purchased about ten of these in various sizes, and all are great. They never wear out, nice solid feel that stay open when loading, great in supermarket, for carrying garden supplies, on and on. the best.

This tote is immortal. I use it for travel to carry heavy or bulky items. It usually gets filled with shoes, but occasionally we use it to haul bottled water and groceries when traveling. It has held up well over all these years. The handles have begun to fray and the red in the corners has frayed, but that hasn't reduced its carrying capacity or strength. It may outlive me.,

This tote is very durable and holds a lot. I use it for vacations.

Bought 6 medium monogrammed totes for family Christmas gifts as I still have the one given to me THIRTY FIVE YEARS AGO.

I bought 3 for Christmas presents and all the ladies loved them! I wished I had gotten them monogrammed by LL Bean, but had someone do it locally for me. Excellent quality. I would order again.

These bags are so durable and sturdy. I believe you could carry 50 pounds or more in them. I can't even guess how many of these bags I have bought throughout the years; and the personalization makes them extra special!! They are very popular gifts.

The Boat and Tote, extra large, is great for everything! My daughter-in-law had been eyeing my two totes for years so this year I got her the extra large tote for Christmas and I saw her eyes light up! She immediately wanted to see my tote and compare. Hers was bigger and she really loved it then!-)

Boat and Tote canvas bag is fantastic! I purchased this for a friend . I have two myself that I have had approximately 25 years. The canvas is heavy duty and the handles are stitched on very well. I still use mine after all these years. Thanks for a great product LL Bean!

This was a gift for someone who needed a sturdy bag for carting "stuff" back and forth and would last. The size is perfectnot too big that she couldn't carry it when full and not too small that her "stuff" wouldn't fit in it. It's just right.

Bought for myself. Love this boat and toat with long straps. Perfect carry all purse.

My daughter is a college student and wanted a classic tote bag. She chose this one so I ordered for Christmas and had her name monogrammed. I had a tote bag similar to this many years ago but I think this bag is even better quality. It is stiff and shaped so as not to collapse when it sits. I love the classic look of this bag and am so impressed with the quality. It will serve her well for years. We ordered the medium and it is the perfect size to carry her laptop and water bottle and a few other items. It will be useful for so many activities.
