I bought this as a gift to myself as I was returning to work from maternity leave. I LOVE it! I love that I can throw my laptop, pumping bag, lunchbox, water bottle, and other essentials in it. I've also used it as a weekender bag. It's so sturdy and I know I'll use it for years to come.

This is a classic tote. Well made and perfectly monogrammed.

Durable and reliable. Husband and I use these bags for many different purposes. We use them for organizing around the house, board game transportation, snacks, picnics, grocery shopping. My mom wasn't the biggest fan of LL Bean but she LOVES her two totes I got for her. We decided to go with French themes for her, the small white long straps in says "baguette" in brown Buttler type, and the other medium zip long straps green tote says "escargot" in green buttler type. She adores them. For work I use them for transporting art supplies and it just fits so much, practically my whole kit of essentials minus the paint. The large gets quite heavy though when fully packed. Husband uses the large short handle tote all the time when he goes into the office. He reaches for it all the time. Best purchases I've made in 2025. Probably have spent nearly a thousand dollars on these bags and I want more. I am not precious with these bags at all and I'm impressed at how few scuffs and stains I have on these canvas bags. That was one of my fears about getting these bags. Other uses: Crochet craft bag - medium long straps no zipper. Dog leash, led collar, collapsible water bowl, pepper spray, refill bags - the mini bote and tote hung on my little hook by the front door. Finished crochet pieces large items such as shawls and ponchos - xl long straps Large tote bags seem to be our choice for pool/ park / beach days and transporting things to and from office etc. small long strap increible for holding a couple of 40oz water bottles for our park days. Can't wait for my white medium long straps no zip "Fromage" bag which is basically going to be my designated snack / charcuterie bag for going to friends houses. The large short handle no zip fits my 6 quart instant pot duo. Sorry this review is all over the place, but I just love these bags. I have both zip and no zip in every size and I feel I reach for the no zip most of the time. However I am glad I have the options for zip. The zip is very helpful for car transport since things can be contained. However I use the non zip quite often.

Everyone needs a bunch of these in all sizes! Heavy duty but easy to pack and carry just about anything! Got monogrammed ones for everyone for Christmas and put all their gifts inside. A huge hit with everyone! Nothing compares to a good old Bean Boat and Tote Bag.

I'll start out by saying, I ordered the wrong color and initial so I called L.L. Bean and they quickly corrected my order to the right color combination. Also, the tote was on back order until February but it arrived before Christmas!! The tote is the perfect size for my daughter to carry extra things to work.

I have never found a better beach tote. Get one with the long handles - they're perfect!

I finally ordered from LL Bean and it was they NYT WIRECUTTER PICK blue trim long Straps and it like it but it looks so bigger than a medium and the straps are very long to me im wondering if I may have gotten a large by accident or is it just me

Love these totes. With my most recent purchase , I now own one Medium sized, and two Large sized totes. They not only hold multiple items, but the straps can handle the weight , even when the bag is filled

We are very happy with your totes. I would like to say I have a small one that I love for quick trips to the store. I've also had many complements on the small tote. It measures 9x5 1/2x 9 1/2 tall. It's a great size but I don't believe you carry that size anymore. I do like that.

The size of this tote is perfect for a quick trips to the classroom or running out for lunch. I can put my small bag in it along with my iPad, my gloves, and anything else I might need.
