I received one of these in medium as a baby gift and we use it all the time, especially for travel. Just throw everything in there and you can see it all easily! Toys, clothes, diapers etc. I now send these to all my friends when they have a new baby. The monogram makes it extra special and it's something the child will be able to use (literally) forever. My parents have one that is over 40 years old. Also the basic shipping is WAY faster for in stock items with monogram than the other copy cat mail order brand. ;-)

Clean lines, modest in size, decisive in shape, great with jeans, easy to carry and rummage in but not so big as to make keys and glasses disappear.

My daughter & I have given these bags as baby gifts many times and years later have been thanked for their versatile use! I'm so glad LLBean brought back some of the colors they hadn't had in stock for awhile!

I bought my trusty tote during a visit to the LL Bean store back in 1973 when I was in my mid 20's. We are both still going strong although we're no longer "pristine". The only thing I've had to do is add some reinforcement to the tops of the handles about 20 years ago when the stitching frayed a little.

This tote is what I order for new babies. Either with initials or name if it's short like "Luke". Navy trim for boys, red for girls. So useful and some kids are still taking their bags to the beach at 16.

Ditch plastic, nylon and.99 cent store branded bags these last. 24 oz cotton. durable and strong. Over the last two years as my other Eco friendly bags ripped, handles broke or just gave out at the seams; I have replaced them with various sizes of totes. 1 small, 2 medium and 1 large more than handles any size grocery or farmer market run.

I got the small size but wish that I had gotten medium. It is a "go bag" for my dog. I take his food, meds, dog bowl, leash/harness, treats, etc... in it which is much nicer than a plastic bag. I had it monogrammed "DOG".

The quality of the Bean Boat Tote never disappoints. Where as some seasoned brands have sacrificed craftsmanship for a cheaper product LL Bean has remained consistent. I have purchased more than a few of these bags in various sizes over the years and the quality holds up and will continue to do so.

This is a great tote bag and I will use it for many different purposes. Note: I am also still using the LL Bean boat tote that i purchased over 40 years ago. This bag is well worth the price.
