Ordered large with long handles. For reference I'm 5'4 and a size 14. This works perfectly for me. It's for everyday use and school. Practical tote to grab and go without worrying about what fits. My laptop, books, notebooks, water bottle, toiletry bag, a jacket, lab coat, and other items fit very well with plenty space for more. It's so spacious it doesn't even feel heavy, very practical. The handles don't slide off like the medium one. I'm so happy with this purchase. If your a mom or teacher or a busy person the large it the one you should get. The medium didn't work for me at all. I don't suggest you buy the medium if you need something practical and to grab for the go. On the medium I could only fit my toiletry bag, wallet and water bottle and it was very heavy and unpractical and uncomfortable, not even my laptop fit. The handles kept slipping because they were too wide compared to the size of the tote, like the ratios don't sit right. It was quiet uncomfortable but it might be given Im more on the plus size. I had to donate the medium. I'll buy another large in when I'm ready for another color.

I bought the same bag 15+ years ago and I've used it every day as my day-bag. It's the right size and the right weight to throw in books, lists and anything I might need for the day including my purse when I need to condense. And now I love this new one with my name in script - so "hands-off" to others. The only thing I wish this new one had is a little outside side-pocket like my older one. But it's perfect otherwise.

This is a very sturdy tote. Well made and perfect for hauling multiple items. It also arrived faster than expected-even during the busy holiday season.

Due to embroidery backup, they couldn't promise me my bag would arrive in Oklahoma City before Christmas, but said they would do their best and it was delivered on Dec 19! A++++

These totes are great for so many things. I love the variety of sizes. The large is great for packing towels, etc. for the beach. Also great as a teacher bringing stuff back and forth from school.
