I have 6 of these totes. They are both practical and never wear out. The quality cannot be beat.

This is the first time I purchased one of the tote bags. It is very well constructed and I think will provide years of use.

I use them as my grocery bags The two large ones I got easily hold a couple of weeks worth of groceries. The card inside the bags said they was hand sewn by Nina I want to thank her she did an excellent job. I also really appreciate the fact that The bags are still made in the USA. In conclusion the bags are very well made very heavy duty and should last a lifetime

I purchased a Small Open-Top Boat and Tote for my each of my daughters and my youngest son liked theirs so much he wanted his own, which I had monogrammed. I myself own two Small totes (one open-top, one zip-top) and they are great. I use mine to cart water bottles to and from the car for sports events or road trips. My daughter used hers on a recent road trip. The Small tote is large enough to carry quite a bit and sturdy because of the reinforced canvas base, far sturdier than any flimsy tote or plastic bag. In the past I gave each of my bridesmaids a monogrammed Small Open-top Boat and Tote. If you need a catch-all bag to keep in your car, this is the tote for you. Even though the product description says to spot clean the tote, it does okay in the washing machine, on the gentle cycle in cold water, and line dried. I highly recommend this little gem of a bag!

We sail a lot and have used these totes for many things - yes, for ice in the beginning. Lake Superior is cold, so in the fall, we need to take out the battery for winter storage.. These bags DO NOT hold up to battery acid. Everything else we put in them presented no problems. We've used them for 50+ years. One bag is kept for battery hauling only still.

Fabulous purchase for lots of kids' gear for a trip to the lake! We gifted the bag full of things for a Pasta Party and then it turned into a lake bag. This bag does it all!

Very well made tote that looks quite good. I ordered medium. I wish I had ordered large. The medium, however, is more than adequate for all that you need for a single person packing a picnic for the park or beach. A couple would need the large. I ordered the standard handles it doesn't fit on my shoulders, but I prefer that. I

So cute and we give as a gift to all babies born in our extended family, personalized with baby's first name. Insert a board book and little outfit and it makes a great gift. Most parents love to use it as a book bag or activity bag.

I have a nearly 50-year-old large boat and tote that is still going strong. Now I have a smaller one but I suspect I'll have to pass this one on to the next generation if it lasts that long! It's so useful I might have to purchase another one too.

This is my 2nd time purchasing this my last one got so dirty after 6 years I decided to use it for single place to keep all of my tools because it's sturdy enough I could have just cleaned it but let's face it I'm lazy and these aren't that expensive.

The bag is roomy and sturdy. The lettering adds panache to the bag and it's my go to bag for the beach.

I ordered this a gift for.My adult graddaughter with her initials. I offered the large in navy. She loved it! She was recently married and I ordered it with her new last name Iinitial! A great gift!

I purchased the large tote bag with long handles so I can swoop it over my shoulder. It's way sturdier than I thought and fits the perfect amount of things I need it for - couple of towels, sunscreen, extra clothes, and then some. It's also perfect for a road trip for all the miscellaneous items. We got it embroidered. I couldn't be happier with my first LL Bean purchase!

I can see why these get so many 5 star reviews. I'm the pilot of an antique airplane (1943) that doesn't have a baggage compartment. The plane has tandem seating so whatever I carry has to set on the narrow back seat. I needed something I could stow my camping equipment in. This is perfect. I can fit my cot, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, plus personal items in this bag and keep it contained in the back seat when I fly on overnight trips to airshows and camping events. I had mine personalized with a monogram. This bag uses fantastic materials and is well made. I can't imagine ever wearing it out. I like this bag so well, I plan to order these (in smaller sizes) as gifts for family members!

The bag is excellent quality. It will last for years.

Love it, had it monogrammed. Always wanted one, holds a ton, just used it as an overnite bag, plenty of room for everyting.

This bag looks like quality and performs like quality! I bought two as "investments" for two sisters under 10 years old for their camp and vacation gear knowing that they would have them for years. I received one 11 years ago and have washed it as needed. It comes out of the dryer like new. The stitching, the color and the fabric hold up without signs of wear or weakening. The strapes are wide enough to handle the heavy loads I need to carry from my car to my apartment. You get what you pay for, and this bag is reasonably priced for its years of quality and durability. I would not dream of buying any other brand.
