A classic. I use the boat and tote bag for all my bartending gear. Looks great in Montauk to San Francisco to Martha's Vineyard. Sturdy and it lasts for years.

Have used the Boat and Tote for years -- sturdy, clean design -- almost indisructable. Recently ordered a now monogrammed one for my newest "grand-pup" as an overnight bag for visit to grandmother's house! Big hit with the new parents.

I love the pink embroidery! It's like a mauve pink. Shiny though. It's sooooo pretty. Glad they updated the colors !!

I think this bag is a little deeper than the previous I had received a few years ago. At first I wasn't sure if it was too deep even though it was maybe an inch difference. It just changed the look. That being said, I still love it. I can put so much stuff in it, use it for work, traveling misc tote and even grocery shopping. I just love Bean's totes. I even put my nickname on the side for a couple of bucks extra and it's so cute!!!

This bag was a replacement for one that I had for years and took everywhere. I love the new one and as always am so pleased with your products. Also, thanks to Cecile who made the bag and monogram. I will treasure it and use it for a long time.

The quality of these bags has been consistent over the years. I give these as baby gifts and all the parents love them and they are used for years.

This is a very durable tote. I bought my first tote 30 years ago and it's still in great shape. This tote is for my dog. I have his name monogrammed - very classy!

I'm glad to report that LLBean hasn't forsaken its high quality standards regarding these tote bags. My new one is replacing a beloved forty-year old one that a puppy chewed a hole in the bottom of in the 1990's. Except for the hole, it is still going strong, still standing up straight when I set it down. I'm sure I'll keep using it, but for some uses, the new one us more appropriate. These are the best bags and last forever!

Very dependable and nice and roomy! The size is perfect for vacation travel, going to the beach and all around use.

Purchased this bag for my everyday tool needs. Using recycled plastic containers as dividers my tools stand up for easy access. Tote material and construction are top notch.

Every and Anything you purchase from L.L.Bean is always perfect, especially these totes. They have an odd concept, make things that last? Wow! They are the REAL GREEN COMPANY! When you buy from L.L.Bean you will have whatever you purchased until you grow tired of it, not because it rips, tears or a handle falls off. You could rummage through landfills for as long as you'd like, I guarantee you won't find an L.L.Bean tote, we pass them down. I use these totes for groceries (canned, bottled, heavy items), and as a dog carrier. My Murphy weighs 17 pounds, I put a fluffy blanket in with him, and we can go anywhere! One is my beach tote, it is impermeable to sand, Ta-Da Nuff said.

LL Bean has always made quality canvas bags. Very study bag & handles. They last for years - just wish they would clean spots better when needed. Purchased a large as a gift - own several.

I bought the small, red boat and tote bag. It is bigger than I thought it would be. It holds my work cap, apron and other essentials. I love it!!! This is my fourth tote bag that I bought for myself. I have 2 medium, one large and one small. LL Bean-please make more boat and totes in PASTEL colors!!!! Pink, light green, tangerine, turquoise etc.

Same great quality. Use it for carrying my Bose speaker when performing. I know it's not going to break.
