Just received my tote today and I am very disappointed in the stitching and monogram, this was suppose to be a Christmas present for a family member. The r was not completely done.

I bought this product and had an unfortunate incident in which a bottle of mine broke and spilled a water based liquid onto my bag. The bag is stained, despite multiple efforts to clean the bag. I have no idea how anyone could use this bag on a boat - it would dirty immediately. Customer service also ignored my issue despite policy of "fairness". They were curt and reflected a company culture of apathy for their customers. I will never be purchasing from LL Bean again.

Bought this monogrammed tote as part of a friend's engagement present and I'm disappointed. The stitching is messy and uneven, with lose strands everywhere. I've had one of these bags for 10 years, and it's clear to me that level of quality is gone p

I was very disappointed. The bag was absolutely huge. The dimensions I viewed on line did not show how huge it was. I was also disappointed that I had to pay shipping to purchase, then shipping to ship back and then on top of everything, I was issued a gift card instead of having the return put back on my credit card. I will use the gift card, but once that is done this is my last purchase with Bean. Everything was too much, too costly and too much trouble.

The embroidery was horrible! And the size and font were not as described on the website. I'm very disappointed

I bought this tote to replace my husband's old one. I bought many before too but I am disapointed that the new version does not have inside pockets and it is not mentioned anywhere. Bummer.

The tote bags are much more cheaply made than they used to be.

Have purchased this bag as gifts several times over and the quality has gone down tremendously. Stitching is poorly done with an underlay of the handle.

First purchase and disappointed it arrived damaged

I received this bag for Christmas. I absolutely love it however, the embroidery doesn't start my last name with a calital( pronoun. It looks ridiculous.. Ms coyne instead of Ms Coyne The C should a capital.

Not happy with monogram or the customer service to date. I have been a customer for many years ordering many personalized items; however, very disappointed with a Christmas item I purchased as a gift. I have reached out to customer service 3 times and they keep dropping the chat and one lady told me it was because of the weather. I love the bag just disappointed with the monogram size (super super tiny on one bag where they were perfect on the other 3 bags i purchased) and the customer service has not been good up to this date.

Monogramming nightmare! Not only spacing but the order of initials! Took 3 attempts and hours of waiting.

the bag smells funky when it arrives. i have tried to spray perfumes and fan it out but it still smells really bad

Returned. Tried canceling immediately but wasn't able to.

These are the best bags. We have all sizes and love them. They are very strong & carry a lot. We have given them as gifts to our children and now grandchildren with their names engraved. Very happy with these bags.

Handled are way to long and bag not what I expected

I have bought these for 40 years I was happy about the white monogram But the thread is so shiny it looks awful I think I have to throw these out

This is not the tote I love! It doesn't have a front pocket like previous totes. Disappointed

Love their bag embroidery. Be sure to check it for what you ordered. My name was supposed to be Kristina in script. The K was on block and the rest in script. Not a happy camper!

Horrible bag. First time I used it my hands were irritated from the stiff handles.

What a disappointment! I owned several of these bags over the years and loved them, but the one I received January 2017 was extremely stiff, couldn't fold it at all. I decided to wash it hoping to soften it and it made it even worse. I'm now sending the bag back and I'm so sorry that the old type of canvas bags are no longer available.
