The bag and everything about it is perfect. I would however skip the monogram in the future. The single letter is very large at 6" x 3".

We love the bag but the color of the monogram looks different than the blue displayed on the website.

I love this tote, made special with my monogram. It has become my weekly church tote. The only drawback is that the insides of the handles is white instead of navy. These will get too dirty to clean after some use. My last one had a zippered pocket inside which I wish this one had.

I really feel like this is an okay bag and I'm satisfied with the bag.

Excellent bag for my autistic grandson. He carries his books everywhere. Very sturdy

Bought one 30 years ago and finally had to buy a new one only because the handles frayed. The tote bag is great quality lasts for a long g long time.

Shipped way quicker than the website said, we have a couple of these totes and they are versatile and almost indestructible!

Bag itself is great. The only thing that may be risky is custom embroidery.

It seems stiff on delivery but, I'm sure after using it will soften up. Next time I would personalize with some fun stuff.

Good bag for law student. It fits my laptop, iPad, chargers, books and snacks comfortably. The only problem reason I gave it a 4/5 stars is because it came with a defect on the front of the bag where there is a ball of material sticking out

To start, I do love this bag. It's wonderfully constructed, sturdy, and the monogramming is perfect. My only issue with this bag is HOW large it is; I was convinced I had received and extra large by mistake. I was debating between the medium and the large and decided to go with the large and boy-howdy is it big. My original purpose was to use this as a personal carry-on item on a flight in addition to my regular carry-on and I don't know that I'll be able to - it's so big. The largest size jumps in measurements are between the medium and the large, and I wish it was just a smidge smaller. Still a great bag though!

Reinforced seems study material should last a lifetime. Used to transport lunch etc to work. Should last a lifetime!

It doesn't flop over - my favorite part!! The bag is sturdy and the medium with long handles allows me to carry it in my hand without it dragging the ground, or carry it on my shoulder. Room for improvement: 1. The option to either hand wash or, better yet, machine wash would be fantastic. 2. An option for organizing pockets, or a pouch that could attach to the handles and hang on the side of the bag would be perfect.

I love my bag HOWEVER I opted for the short straps thinking I wouldn't like the look of the longer ones and they're too short in my opinion. They limit what all you can put in the bag while still being able to carry it comfortably and even without much in it it's hard to get the straps up to your elbow to carry while wearing a winter coat let alone up to your should to haul. I much would've preferred longer straps

Excellent quality. I wish the straps were an inch or two longer so I could put it on my shoulder more comfortably. I know it comes with (much) longer straps as well, but those long straps are so long they prevent one from comfortably carrying the tote in your hands when you don't want it on the shoulder. (With the longer straps the tote practically drags drags the floor when held normally.) A happy "medium" would be nice.

This is a lovely bag. The seams on the sides show the selvage of the canvas as it comes off the bolt. The quality of a Bean bag should look more professional. This is just my opinion.

Useful tote. It might be heresy to suggest but I do wish LLBean would consider adding some interior pockets & a key fob. Something to consider

This makes two of these I have plus another three in camo...I gave it four stars because Bean refuses to make this size bag in camo...why??? You make other bags that I am sure don't sell that well but camo does...

I needed to replace my longtime tote bag for heavy library books so based on the reviews this was the ticket. So far I am pleased with my purchase, but knowing this is handmade, couldn't the maker, Ryan, have snipped off the excess threads *see attached photos?) If I'm making something, I certainly am going to pay attention to these details. Just seems like a silly thing to overlook that makes your product seem carefully finished.

With it had the exterior pocket or a little interior one for a phone. But otherwise excellent. Love how sturdy the fabric is

Wish it had inside pockets instead of just a plain bag.

The tag on the tote and bot bag was different from what I payed. They credited my credit card.

Overall its really cute but i was expecting a softer texture for the actual bag.
