Picked up this hat for my son who works for a resort in NY State. He spends a lot of time outdoors and being bald like his dad appreciates a warm hat. My son told me that the hat is very comfortable and quite warm, and he really likes the colors and LL Bean logo. Would definitely purchase it again, maybe even one for myself.

I love how versatile, fun, and useful this hat is! I have it in two colors and wear it causally or for skiing.

I love my new Katahdin pom hat! But I do need to mention that the one I got in the mail was a little too large, and I wasn't sure what to do because I knew they only came in one size. But I brought it up to the Retail Store and exchanged it for another one that looked smaller, and it fits perfectly now!

Fits perfectly. Color is as vibrant in person as on website.Very comfortable and of course great quality. Just love my new hat!

Love this hat. It's not only warm, it's sooooo soft. I ordered the Kelly Green and it's so colorful and fun. Wore it walking this morning - no cold ears! I really like the Katahdin-themed products like this hat, as well as the Katahdin logo patch on many items. And this coming from me who routinely cuts off logos haha. Completely happy with this purchase.

I have bought three of these hats and they are fantastic. They are warm, soft and comfortable. I use one for running, one stays in the car for the cold, kids sporting events, and the other stays in the house for evening/weekend walks. I do not like the pom so I cut it off, and it wears just like a beanie.

I will wear this when out on colder weather hikes with my Hiking club. Very nice looking. and will cover my ears when cold and wind is blowing.

Very nice hat. I have been scoping this one out for a while. During the winter I wanted to purchase but I guess inventory was low. I just purchased two with my L.L. Bean credit card and got a very good deal with points that I have earned. This one will go good with my L.L. Bean Baxter State Down parka on those cold New Hampshire nights! New England for Ever!!

This hat is very warm and not itchy. It does not ride up either. Perfect for my commute and on weekends.

I'm always looking for a good winter hat that stays in place when I put it on my big head while keeping it warm. This does the trick. And I just like poms...old fashioned.

I am very pleased with my new hat ! Usually do not wear hats because they give me a headache, but this hat is just stretchy enough to not be too tight. Quality is excellent and the hat is just so soft and so warm. Color is beautiful- but not flashy. I love my new hat !

I ordered the grey and white version of this hat after seeing it on somebody hiking a mountain. I felt that pang of despair at the idea of this hat being a now or never purchase. Next year will be a different hat I suppose. Happily, the hat feels as good as it looks. It is soft and warm and not too tight. It has good stretch to it so you can fit it just right around your head. I'm glad I added it to my gear this season.

As I was going to spend Christmas in Washington DC and I live in Southern California, I decided I better get some warmer clothes for the trip, including a hat. So, I saw this Katahdin Pom Hat and fell in love with the primary colors. Very cheerful looking. Also, as I have a bigger head than my husband I was happy that it fitted me. It snowed whilst I was there, so it kept my head and my ears warm, plus it isn't itchy or too heavy on my head.

Awesome! Beautiful teal color and Katahdin pattern. The material is tight knit double layer. Ninety five percent acrylic, four percent nylon and one percent elastane is plush and soft. This Pom provides great wind resistance and warmth.

I ordered 3 of these hats (in kelly green, teal, and red, white and blue) for Christmas. My youngest daughter, husband, and I LOVE them. They are a comfortable hat, keep your ears warm, and the colors are fun. I would buy them again.

The cap is extra long and covers my ears in cold weather, which I like a lot. Many stocking caps are too short but not this one. I will likely buy a couple more.

Warm hat & fits well

I ordered the rich berry but in person, it is more of a maroon, dark gray color. If you're looking for a pink berry color, this isn't it. I love it anyway and will wear it a lot. It's probably more versatile in a darker color. I got my husband the black/white one and he loves it too. Appears to be super warm, will be wearing them soon, it is just now turning cold. Love the quality, super soft and comfortable.

My sons and I love these hats, we have 3 matching of the original / primary color / Katahdin print. When I saw the new (Berry) pink and grey one, I ordered it immediately. Online the picture looks hot pink / dark grey, in person the hat is really dark, more maroon / navy. I returned it as I'm all about pink, but not so much maroon, still an awesome hat, I just know I would not wear that color. This hat fits my normal head well, and fits my teenage sons giant noggins comfortably.

I love this hat! The fabric is soft and it keeps my ears warm. I was concerned it would be too big because it's listed as a man's hat but I loved the pattern so I ordered it anyway even though I'm a woman. It is quite stretchy and fits really well! I've also gotten many compliments on the design. (I ordered the Katahdin print color)
