I'm not exaggerating when I say this. I bought a pair for my husband's stocking at Christmas. The first time he wore them he declared they were the most comfortable socks he's ever worn. He got online and ordered 6 more pair, and threw out all his old socks.

The Shimmy Mid Crew is the perfect sock for my hiking, running, and cycling. Because they are left and right foot specific, they are better form fitted than other socks, which reduces the friction against the foot that causes blisters on long walks. For the same reason, they work equally well for my trail running. And for cycling, they are the perfect height and breathability for either a long day in the saddle or setting off on the trails for a day on the mtb. Overall, this is now my go to sock for everything fun I do outside.

Awesome Socks! Very comfortable and the material is great!

The socks are very comfortable and their XL size fit is great on size 12 feet. Their material's sponginess, and compression provides just the right amount of support. The Stance logos on the upper leg portion of the sock tube cracked in half and is peeling after the first wear on both socks.

I like these for work during hotter weather. I wear composite toe boots, and these have better than average reinforcement in the toe box for a performance fabric sock.
