I start with UGGs and switched to Bearpaws many years ago. First the Emma, then the Meadow. Those have been discontinued. I was concerned the Elle would be too tight in the calf but it's perfect. I usually wear a 9 in shoes but always a 10 in Bearpaw boots. I'll be ordering another pair in black as soon as they are back in stock. Thanks, Zappos. Quick delivery.

They were too tight front to back and instead of the leather going up the calf straight it angled out, just didn’t fit the same as the other pair I have at home.

I already have a pair of Bearpaw boots in a different style and really love them, so I was confident I would be keeping these. However, even though they're the same size as my other boots, I measured the sole against my old ones; these boot soles are about a 1/2" shorter so my toes hit the end of the boot so they're way too tight. They also have no support, whereas my other ones have moderate support. I'm really disappointed, but these boots going back.

Being picky here, but did not like the sole and boot in same color. Prefer the sole in a tan or other complimentary color to the boot color,. Wine on wine (in my opinion) cheapens the look of the boot rather than breaks up the tones. Otherwise I really liked the boot.

I ordered a pair of these, size 11 in wine and loved them!! The price was great so I ordered a pair of grey ones, but these were too snug to tuck my sweats in and still be comfy. My calves are 13 inches at widest point. To be fair, I have neuropathy in my lower legs and anything snug around them is really uncomfortable so "normal" people might not have this problem. I really love the wine colored pair and quality is comparable to very pricey Uggs!

I don't wear mine outdoors because I think they're ugly. However, I wanted something really really warm and non-slip to wear inside my house which gets very cold in winter. Uggs looked way overpriced. Bearpaw are quite good. I like that they keep my lower legs warm and not just my feet. The leg is narrower than I thought it'd be. If you have big legs these might be too tight on you. Rolling them down helps loosen them though. Overall these are really, really comfortable and soft, cushiony and warm. I'm buying a pair now for my mom for winter dog-walking.

Super comfortable and cozy from the minute I put them on. Makes my feet look a bit wide, but I think that’s the style.

The material is great but I ordered the boots one size larger than usual based on reviews and they are still too small. If you have narrow feet and not too large calfs and order a size up they probably would be fine for you. At the sale price it's a great deal for real sheepskin. Sadly I have to send mine back.

I really wanted to love these as much as my Uggs, but honestly I really hated the soles. They felt like moon boots from the 80's, and the heels felt somehow too high so I didn't like walking in them. The sole assembly is pretty clunky. I wear an 8 or 8.5 so I got a 9 from the advice of many of the other comments, but they felt a little sloppy right out of the box and I know they'll probably stretch out in time, so I wish I'd gotten the 8 instead. Maybe I just like my shoes tighter than others, but I'd prefer to stretch something out than love them for a month then find them too big later. I felt the quality was good, overall, but just not for me.

I was so thrilled to get a new pair of boots since my old pair got a hole in in the sole. I had my previous boots for almost 10 years and they were perfect. This new one is definitely not what I expected. It’s tighter near the toe area and not wide enough for some comfort. Returning asap.
