In my search for the perfect black block heel under $200 I thought I’d found the one with my love, CL by Chinese Laundry. The footbed has nice extra pillow-y cushioning which is appreciated and has a really secure feeling but the toe area is textured in a weird way. Not good for a heeled dress shoe. Comfy low heel height and plenty of room in the toe box area for 4/5 toes. Unfortunately the ankle strap and buckle area were dangly and loose like a tooth and felt like I would break it off accidentally just trying it on. I think I would have loved these if not for that. The search continues.

The part of the shoe that holds the heel (not the ankle strap was much too big for my foot). The shoes are inexpensive, but they did not look "cheap".

Bought for my 18 year old daughter for prom. Comfy enough for her to dance in for an hour and wear for 4 hours.

Given that I never find heels comfortable, these were pretty comfy! The strap was a bit big so I had to make extra holes in it to cinch around my ankle. Wore these to a fall wedding and they felt pretty good. They seem durable.

The shoes looked great, but when I tried them on I could have walked right out of them. Having no back support was a problem with keeping them on.

There is absolutely no support in the back of the shoe. The 2 side back straps can not be adjusted and are very loose.
