The problem is--- I remember when LL Bean had more quality than it does today. This vest is good. For the money I paid,, I feel it should be even better--at least ' very good'. It was made in a country where the people who made it are starving. Is it worth the money I paid? not really--but--it's good.

Warm Vest for Layering. Great worn alone for that cool day or layered under a shell for a cold one. Warmer versatility was what I was looking and this vest fits the bill. I really like the exposed fluffy pile styling. One thing that works well is the neck is high and seals off to keep the wind out. For me the reason I didn't rate as 5 star is the chest pocket needs to be a little larger to fit cell phone.

Vest pocket too small for my iPhone- disappointing. Overall warmth and quality very good.

Almostit's almost as good as last year. My husband got a navy one last year and we both loved it. So, we got this onebut it seems something is not quite the sameand the colors this year weren't that greatit's hard to match this gold to shirts for sure.

Great fit and warm. When our home gets chilly, this is my go to vest for comfort. As to an layering for the outside, very warm.

The Sherpa Vest is warm and soft. Love the dark green color.

Would like if it was softer. Fluffy, fuzzy, warm. Pockets are great

The vest is a handsome wear and warm. The inside lining is piling and I suspect it was a used one sent to me. Piling was noticed after the first wear. If not, the lining doesn't last long.

The construction is nice. The materials are cheap. Very thin and coarse layer of fleece stitched to a thin polyester liner. Not very warm. As others mentioned, the fit is strange. Nice and long but narrow. No flex around the hem so often need to unzip to access pockets etc.

I like the vest but I think it needs at least one deep pocket on the inside. There is not any on the inside of the vest. The womens vest dores although not deep. I rate the vest average.

It is warm, BUT The chest pocket is so small I cannot put my iphone in is which is a major problem for me.

I was looking forward to getting this new product but disappointed when it arrived. Seemed just right in terms of warmth but the pockets were too small. Iphone 13 Max or SX would not fit in breast pocket and the side hand pockets were too shallow to be really comfortable. I sent the vest back.

Too large + when I contacted LL BEAN they wanted shipping fee to exchange for size smaller. Will not buy from them again .

I bought this and wish I didn't Fit is way off quality not worth the sale price..better off if I cut 3 holes in a rug!! Bought 2 beautiful fleece vest superior quality and fit and delivery on Vineyard Vines for $39 each original price $150

Bought this as a gift for my mother, except once AGAIN it did not fit like my other LL Bean products. Disappointed as this was intended as a gift for my mother, guess it'll have to go to someone else..

Ordered large. Was too tightfitting but XL would have been too big.

When I received, it reminded me of a movie Ringo Starr was in, where he walked around wearing an ugly vest similar to this one in a beginning of time. Can't remember the name.
