I wear these day in and day out. I have bought these shoes about four times in the last thirty or so years. They are comfortable and for me they last for years. AS for me they are the only shoes that fit my feet consistently. A little expensive but worth it and the fact that they are made in this country is a big plus. Keep doing it.

I *LOVE* these shoes. Have always worn the black color and decided to try the 'Antique Walnut' (brown) ones. Same superb comfort and fit, broke in in no time. I've been wearing these shoes for 10 + years, they make my unhappy knees happy, and my walking much more comfortable.

A podiatrist told me about SAS 20(?) years ago, and it's all I've worn since then. My only complaint is that the soles wear out before the body of the shoe. Two repair shops have told me that new soles cannot be put on this particular brand/model. If I'm wrong, somebody please tell me!

This is my daily comfort shoe, has been for years, and will continue to be. I always keep at least 2 pairs...a work shoe and a going out shoe. I always hold my breath that when it's time to get a new pair that they may have been discontinued. And when I find they have not been, my feet 'smile'. I love them..

I've had foot problems for several years and finally decided to have some custom shoes made. The custom shop also has a retail store and my shoes were trashed so I picked up the SAS Time Out to wear while my custom shoes were being made.
It turns out, the SAS shoes are far more comfortable and do much more to alleviate my foot pain. I think the key for me is the extra depth, since I have high inseams as well as just thick feet. The cushions built into the shoe are nice and the leather is so soft it doesn't aggravate my foot condition.
When these wear out, I will most likely be buying another pair.

Great shoe, I needed to order 1/2 size up and it fit perfectly for my wide foot. Great space in the toe box, plenty of wiggle room. These shoes have wonderful soft leather, for dressy or casual attire.

I had a coworker from a luxury hotel group. She said she would drive me to the SAS shoes store. I regret not doing it from about 5 or 6 years ago. It's been about 6 weeks since I bought my first SAS shoes and these are my second pair. Only show company I know that's keep triple wide in stock in stores. I'm saving up for the sandals with the strap at the back.

This is the third pair of these I've bought. Soles wore out after many years. Surprisingly the black leather tops held up very well with an occasional bit of paste wax. I do not use for everyday, only when doing a lot of walking or when I need something between casual and dressy. These are great for walking because they come in narrows so I can get proper length and good support, unlike most sneakers which I have to buy too short and too wide, and are often too squishy.

I have neuromas (both feet), and very high arches.
Have been wearing these with custom orthotics.
I like the fact that the heel is not too high, and the stack height is only of about 6 mm.
I like them so far- its only been 1 day though. They seem to have good cushioning on the sole, and are comfy to walk in.
So far so good!

I need to order men's sneakers because my feet are between a woman's 12 and 13. Zappos is fantastic about fast shipping and processing my money from returns back to the bank. Due to this I was able to try several sizes of SAS Time Out sneakers and settled on size 12. My toes have a squared off shape and the rounded toe box on the SAS Time Out was perfect. There is cushioning around the inside top of the shoe that added to the comfort and there was no rough piecing together of the leather to rub my feet. They also give me good balance as I walk over slanted uneven terrain. My feet do not hurt after walking for two hours. The style is basic but at this point in life I care more about comfort. I have several different shoes crafted by SAS and they have survived for many years, also feel better and better as they wear. Thank you Zappos and SAS!!!!
