No joke. These shoes fit like a glove, have the support I need and look great. I am in my 60's and need support for the gym and sports, need cushion for exercise walking; I have a pair for each activity and they never disappoint. I typically wear knee supports
(old joints!) when I exercise walk but these shoes offer enough cushion that they aren't necessary. Just bought a pair for casual walking/travel that are light as a feather but with the same support/ cushion as the athletic shoes. Just so happy I finally found the perfect shoe!

I will be honest, I was going to return these. I even went to the trouble to print a return label. I thought they were too big in the heel and would rub my heels raw. I decided to try them because I hate returning things and lo and behold these were better for my long walks than my Hoka Clifton and new balance fresh foam 1080. I was pleasantly surprised and plan to buy additional colors.

Have worn Devotion plus 2 for several years. Like them but always had to buy power step arch support for them to fit my high arch. Decided to try the new Devotion X. Love them. Perfect fit for my arch

I like the shoe a lot but the mesh fabric, won't work for winter use. I can imagine that it is great for exercise in summer heat (air flow) but I'm looking for a winter shoe at this time. I will consider Ryka again when I need summer shoes for outdoor exercise. I like the color of this shoe - more subtle. Especially because I have big feet, I'm not interested in the bright, loud colors of so many exercise shoes today.

These shoes were comfy and true to size. However, after about three weeks of wearing, the slip in feature of the left shoe collapsed and no longer works well. So if you really want a step in shoe, this one is not for you.

I wanted to like this. It is a very nice looking beige show. The inside of the heel felt too high, to the point where the heel was dragging when I walked. I could try to get used to it, but I'll just go back to NB.

Ryka Devotion X was too wide for my narrow feet. I suspected these shoes would not fit but liked the style, color, and structure. The shoe deserves a high rating, but the fit is limited to feet wider than mine.

I was so worried when I wore these to work the first day. I've had too many shoes that feel great at home but by the end of a workday they're awful and I can't return them. Not these. My feet felt great all day and when I got home, no aches or pains. I'd buy them again!

I have wide feet and it’s always a challenge to find the right shoe. Most shoes that say wide or Xwide, just aren’t!
Zappos is always out of anything that’s a true DD, 2E width
These Ryka are comfortable. I had to get a 1/2 size bigger so the width would work, but they are a touch long.
I walk dogs all day and I don’t mind them being a tad long and they don’t have to be gorgeous shoes… although I do like the design.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance 2E walking or running shoes

I have a pair of Ryka that I love--super comfortable and I always get compliments when I wear them. I wear an 8 and they were only available in a wide. I tried it to see if it would work, and it felt ok when I tightened up the laces but it felt loose around my heel area. With the correct size I think it would be a very comfortable shoe.

I really wanted these to fit because they’re attractive and even though they were a little too snug (size 7.5 what a normally wear), I could tell this was a shoe made for comfort. I’m considering trying a size 8. I like a toe box on the wide side and I also think this shoe has a toe box that would be acceptable for my needs.

Very comfortable shoe. I have heel bursitis and so far no complaints! They do seem a little wide in the heel but I tend to have a narrow heel. Just feels like it needs another eye to tighten the heel area a little more. But overall I am pleased with these shoes.

If you have wide feet, avoid these shoes. I orders the D-wide and found them too narrow to accommodate my wide toe box and bunion. Arch support felt decent, but these are not the right shoe for me.
