It is a beautiful shirt but is not made the traditional medium size. It is more form fitting. It did not work for my husband.

It's a really nice flannel shirt. I only wish it was a little more fitted. I'm 5'10" and 170lbs and it's a little baggy around my body. The arm length is great though.

I no longer buy any of these shirts with the "suede" neck liner on the inside of the collar - can you please just make normal flannel shirts without this ?

It wrinkles to easily and therefore doesn't look that good

Size seems true, quality appears to be good, for the price I thought the fabric would be heavier

Very warm and comfortable. It has a nice fit and the material is very soft.

My husband is pleased with this nicely tailored, eye-popping shirt. The medium size fits everywhere except the sleeves, which are too long on him.

Medium weight, normal fit even In the slim fit style. I'm 5'11, 175 lbs, 32 inch waist, 43 chest. The large fits perfect. I think it is too expensive but it was a gift.

Sleeve's way too long for a large. Quality of the flannel not as good as in the past. I have several older fLLBean flannel shirts with much nicer flannel. This flannel is too fuzzy.

It's a nice shirt but the neck is far too large for an XL Regular

Nice feel, but the buttons are loose after a couple of wears.

I ordered this shirt for my husband. Great color, fabric and construction with perfectly matched plaids on the side seams BUT no second button on the cuffs of the sleeves so he returned it because the sleeves were too long. He was surprised at the omission of a second button because once shirts were no longer offered in exact sleeve lengths it became standard practice to provide two buttons on the cuff

The shirt fabric is nice and soft, the color is nice, and the collar detail is a nice touch.
But there are 2 issues that stop this from being 5 stars: 1. The fit around the waist is way too baggy. It's a SLIM fit shirt, so why isn't the waist tapered? I'm 5'7" 160 lbs with an athletic build. The waist on the small size is perfect but the chest and shoulders too tight. And medium size fits well in the chest and shoulders but is too baggy at the waist. After washing the medium size in hot water and using high heat in the dryer I've been able to shrink the waist enough that it fits pretty well now. But they should come out of the bag with a fit that matches the Bean site description.
2. No second button on the cuffs.

Super soft but the tapered fit is a tight fitting slim fit.

I believe the shirt is of decent quality, but I specifically chose this shirt because the title did NOT state "slim, fitted, etc", as other shirts on LL. Bean are, but when it arrived it was marked as such. I didn't wish to pay for a return shipping, so thankfully it fit my son better, but still I wanted this shirt for a trip we were taking so I was upset this had the fit more hidden than other shirts on the site. Hopefully the overall quality stays true. LL Bean be better about listing your clothing items equally, a site editor should be checking for these details for continuity.

Wrong color from photo. Didn't like gold in it. Way too expensive.

Not mine or my husbands favorite. It fades, but is heavy enough that it can be worn without ironing for work

Great looking shirt but not a tailored fit. It's boxy at the bottom so if you have a thin waste, it looks like a dress.

I ordered a medium for my hubby. The shirt is a medium, but it says slim fit on the label. I wouldn't order a slim fit for him, but he took off the tag and is wearing it to be kind. I'd prefer to return it.

Very comfortable lighter weight flannel shirt. Perfect thickness for warmer fall days where I live. However, one of the sleeve buttons came off the very first time I wore it and was lost. I almost just sewed a new button on, but this is the second LL Bean flannel shirt I've received in the last month with buttons falling off it. For what I paid I will be returning for repair/replacement with my other brand new flannel shirt jacket that has similar issues. LL Bean needs to figure out what's going on here. Two brand new shirts having buttons/snaps falling off is not good. I expect better.

purchased this shirt several years ago and have worn this and its duplicate-different color- 4 to 5 times per season. estimate shirts have been washed each 5 times total. buttons on both shirts are disintegrating even though washed per instructions. buttons seem thin and not good for the duration
