Good quality & fit. I am not sure if I like the cross laces. I think I prefer the old style tie version.

Shoes were narrower than expected. Good shoes. Will take some time to break in. Wish they were not so narrow.

Hasn't fallen apart in the first 6 wearings like the traditional boaters have been doing lately.

Not anything close to the original. Shoddy construction. Would not buy again.

Another great shoe made by sperry. Very simple, yet classy pair of boat shoes. So comfortable you would think I was walking on clouds. High quality pair of shoes. Great pair of shoes I can wear everyday.

I wanted a good quality pair of casual shoes. These are a pretty good choice. They are comfortable enough and can be worn for hours without giving me calluses. If anything, I'd say they are a bit narrow and if you have wide feet they might be a problem for you. For me they are just fine.

This would be a great shoe but needs arch and heal supports. Wearing these shoes will cause flat feet.

I like the return of the thicker sole, but would have liked to see a heavier, darker oiled leather upper, as well as a proper tie-up set of laces - basically, the old boatyard version Topsider. Waiting for this old school version to return!

I love the style with the double sole. I don't like the fixed lacing and I would also like to see a pair in dark brown leather ( like the traditional color)

The shoe is a very light weight leather compared to the old models. More a house slipper. I definitely do not like the tieless lacing. Seems incomplete. Less substantial shoe.

Love the shoes, hate the fit! I'm a size 12 wide, I have plenty of shoes that fit very well. I wanted these for the quality and style; they are way too small width wise, I could barely get my foot in. I called and got very good customer service who told me they know they are narrow- even in the wide size, but that I should go a size up and the issue would be fixed. It wasn't; now too long but foot fit width wise. Now, I had to return those as they wouldn't stay on! It's too bad a wide size really isn't that wide. Love the shoe, hate the fit. They aren't cheap, but should certainly fit better for us wide feet guys.

This was my first attempt at a boat shoe, so for something that is expected to be worn without socks I was a bit thrown off. The build and material quality are great but man are these things uncomfortable. I really can't get past how uncomfortable they are to imagine wearing them anymore than the few minutes that I can stand them. It's like wrapping a brick in leather and sliding your foot in to it. If you can find them in-store, definitely try before you buy.

Did not realize the Sperry Original was a cross lace. Bought it because it had the double sole. Did not like it because it was Cross Lace! Returned it because it was a Cross Lace. I was looking for the previous model of the Men's Mako Cano Moc that had a thick sole and the same color as this one. Evidently you do not make it anymore. I have it in the two colors you make. I have an old pair in this color; I am trying to find a new sole for it.

These shoes are nice, but the fit is not adjustable, the laces are fixed, you don't have the option to tighten them, I've worn size 9m for 45 years, these shoes are loose and need an adjustable lace to work for me
