Got these to replace my original Conards from 2019 I wore almost every week. These are just as comfy at least in the first few weeks of owning. Starting to come around to the color, a little darker than my last pair but still look sharp in the same/similar outfits. Overall would recommend for anyone looking to upgrade.

What is the construction method. Not mentioned in the product description?? For $130 I would expect blake or stitch down.

Sure, maybe the shoes could fit a bit more snug, although I have purchased several Johnston and Murphy shoes over the years. I love them, especially when they have the Italian style dress you. Wish that we come up with those a bit more often? Overall, the shoes are good. Again, maybe they could be a little better well date for me, but overall, give them an A

I purchased the black shoe. It looks nice and it is comfortable. I dont think much of the manufacture. I wore them twice and already part of the thread on the tongue came loose. It doesnt affect the shoe but it shows they dont make them well. Next time I will go to a different shoe company

These were close... Finally a shoe offered in a width which isn't C or EEE. The rubber sole for a dress shoe is a bit disappointing, but it is sewn, so a proper leather sole could be added once you've walked the original sole off. Unfortunately, the toe is pretty long and the instep buckled when I walked. Been there, at least on my foot the top of the shoe is likely to collapse and the shape will be weird from then on. Too bad.

After a little bit of wear they started squeaking uncontrollably and are embarrassing to wear.
