With the current tread toward 'dress' sneakers class has been lost. These shoes are exceptionally comfortable right out of the box - sneaker comfortable. They are also great looking right out of the box. I get compliments every time I wear them. I got both the black and the mahogany. They both have subtle detailing that lifts the traditional look with a touch of modern without sacrificing class. I've never written a review for shoes before. These shoes are worth the effort.

These are without a doubt the best pair of formal shoes I own. They look insanely good and are super comfortable as well. 5 stars all the way

I bought these because of the comfort without sacrificing dress. What I didn't expect was an extra little foam pad on the top of the heal. This is a pressure point on most dress shoes. Tiny little detail that makes all the difference. Very comfortable shoe with a classic, formal look.

They are a nice looking soft top grain leather and are quite comfortable to wear for long periods.

I ordered these shoes to go with a suit I just bought since I was recently selected by the rising stars program within my company. Not only were these shoes super comfortable, but I received compliments on them all day at our kick off event. Can't tell you how confident and comfortable I felt in these and they were definitely worth every penny! J&M is now my go to spot for business dress & business casual!

Ordered this in a W, but seems the silhouette/shape was not adjusted for added width as the tip is comically pointy and not in line with the style.

Johnson & Murphy shoes always fit great and wear great. They look clean and stylish. Been wearing J&M shoes for 30 years, never disappointed.

Have a pair of your shoes from years ago, holding up well but I was looking for a dress shoe in black and decided to buy another pair from J&M. Love them! Will buy another if I am awarded the gift card!

I was surprised that your different styles are sized differently. One style was a perfect width, another too narrow in the W size

Look is classic, quality meets expectation. Fits well but initially difficult for wider feet. Perhaps a wider width for those with wider feet would be a more comfortable option.

The shoes are very high quality, But the size runs large! They flop around like flip flops on my feet. I wear an 8.5 wide shoe in every brand I buy but these are like a size 9, I guess. I'm going to try a thick set of work socks with the shoes to see if that will work. They looked so nice and I threw the box away so I can't return them. I won't make that mistake again. I hate not being able to wear my dress socks with these.

Im still waiting for an exchange - 2 pairs - that you received 2 weeks ago! Ive called twice and both members of your staff told me the shoes had been received and to be processed the next day. They said to watch for tracking. That was days ago. I have since heard nothing but this request for a review of a shoe I dont have! This is a very poor performance, Johnston Murphy!
